i had just started my homework when i heard the first signal that they'd started playing.

the guitarists strummed their guitars to make sure they were in tune.

a couple minutes later i heard the drummer hit every piece of his instrument

then i finally heard the first song begin as their instruments blended together harmonizing perfectly.

at first it started out just like every other Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

a simple head bob or or tapping my pencil on my notebook.

but then as soon as 'the only reason' started i was full on dancing around my small garden house that sat behind my actual house.

i had no idea who the people in the band were, all i knew was that i had fallen love with the way their voices rang through the thin walls of my room just enough to be audible.

"Ev, You can't just ignore everything I say and expect me not to notice" The frown lines in my best friends face becoming apparent.

I sighed rolling my eyes at his attitude.

"And you can't continue to talk about unnecessary gossip and expect me to listen every time" I glared back at him.

"Here comes gorgeous." Brooklyn nodded his head towards someone walking in to the lunch room.

As he walks to the table filled with nothing but football players I notice its Luke Hemmings.

Brookln saw him as some sex god just like everyone girl in this school.

I, on the other hand didn't quite enjoy being anywhere near him, Every time we were in the same class he'd kick my chair or fling small rubber bands at me.

I saw him as some cliche jerk who showed up in every movie at one point or another with his only talent being getting laid and playing sports.

"I don't understand why you even like him." I scoffed, rolling my eyes at him.

"I don't understand why you aren't attracted to the most beautiful human there is" he complained.

"I hate him, and that's all there is too it." I explained sternly.

And it was true, I did hate Luke Hemmings with all my being.
