"Sometimes, what was spoken doesn't match what was thought. The reason being the heart has changed but the mind isn't aware."

In his third year of middle school, he got a loving girlfriend. He loved her so much.

In his first year of high school, he lost her. His love was lost, so was his heart.

He was in so much pain, his entire heart and mind became numb.

Her love for him was unrequited. He already had a girlfriend. But when her greatest obstacle was gone, she didn't felt happy at all.

All she felt was sadness and worry as he was never the same again...

This is the story of Rika and Kota, their painful love story...

Kirisaki Rika came to Minami High School, after her first love, Ichinose Kota.

Rika had learnt about the lost of Kota's Girlfriend from the rumors. She was so devastated since the three of them were always hanging out together in Middle School, but she believed that Kota has it worse.

Rika wanted to do something to comfort him. But the devil side of her mind wanted her to attack him while he was weak.

After the Entrance Ceremony, Rika had set out to find Kota. At last, he was found leaning against a tree in the backyard, his hair blowing ever so slightly with the Spring Breeze, along with bright pink Cherry Blossom petals. The sight was mesmerizing.

Walking closer, Rika noticed the tear stains on his cheeks, making her smile sadly, her eyes scrunching up in pain.

"You have yet to move on from her, Senpai... What am I saying, of course not..."

Rika whispered, her voice blown away but the wind. She quietly moved forward, gently shaking Kota.

"Senpai, please wake up. You'll catch a cold if you sleep here."

Kota groaned before opening his brown eyes to be met with bright pink ones. He stretched before asking,

"Who are you?"

Rika was taken aback before replying,

"Senpai, don't be mean. It's me, Rika, your Kouhai in Middle School."

Kota laughed, before patting the ground next to him, indicating for her to sit down.

"This feels nolstalgic, it's been one whole year since we've talk. I'm surprised you got into this school, with your awful grades that is."

Rika glared at him playfully before pouting,

"My grades are just fine. It's Senpai's grades that are awful."

Rika pouted and puffed out her cheeks, making Kota laugh at her in amusement.

"Come on, let's go inside. There's a special place that I found, I'll show it only to you, Rii-chan."

Rika was happy that Kota still remembered his nickname for her. Kota led her to a classroom on the third floor. It seems to be a old classroom, now a storage room for tables and books. Surprisingly, it was still clean and dust free.

The tables and chairs were all stacked up at the back, Kota pulled out a chair on the bottom row which was placed sideways, different from the others that were place vertically. Doing that revealed a small entrance into the hollow area between the wall and tables.

"Here we go, please do enter, your highness."

Kota put down the chair and gestured for Rika to enter, laughing at Rika's unimpressed face when called 'your highness'. As Rika crawled in, Kota followed and dragged the chair back in place.
