{Allisson's Pov}

I dreamt of a rainy, dark and gloomy day. I was wrapped inside something soft and I was cradled inside something that smelt of wood and..Varnish..? Could this be a basket or a crate of some sort..?

Uncover my face with my hands and saw the dark, moonlit sky and felt the rain pat my face. I rubbed off the little droplets with my hands. Wait. My hands..

I observe my hands and see that they, for some reason, look exactly like a baby's. Now this just gets weirder and weirder.

Pushing the dilemma with my hands aside, i look up and see a frail figure, a woman, dressed in black and her head and face hidden by a scarf. She looked so weak and the bruises on her arms indicated that she was being abused. I can only imagine what her attacker did to her face. I pitied her.

Suddenly, she turned around and from what I could tell, she saw something that frightened her and she started making a run for it. The basket lid fell shut and I was left to desperately find out who may be chasing us through the holes.

From what I could make out, it was a tall and more muscular figure in a some sort of scrub or lab coat. He was running very quickly and he was catching up to us and to my horror, he had a cleaver in hand.

The basket made a sudden thud. It must've hit something. This ride was getting bumpier and the woman was too frantic to take caution of to remember her little passenger. There was too much movement and action going on for me to see if the figure was still chasing us.

I silently prayed that she, whoever she is and wherever she was headed to, would make but to her destination safely and unharmed.

As if my prayers were heard, she suddenly stopped and the basket fell. I could hear and make out a struggle and then a loud thud that almost resembled the sound of when a large tree gets cut down.

All was silent. One can only hear the rain and the distant sound of traffic. Was she dead? Who fell? What is to become of me? Who are they? Where was she headed to? What the heck is going on?!

Suddenly, heavy footsteps disturbed the simple orchestra of the rain and traffic. The closer the shadow got, the louder each footstep became. Fear was pooling in the pit of my stomach, through my heart and then spreading to the rest of my body. When Darkness blocked my looking hole, I knew that it arrived.

Fear whispered that I am about to meet a horrible fate; it tugged at my senses and my instincts and  pulled the string that triggered my panic and adrenaline. My heart was beating fast and my hands were shaking terribly. I wanted to scream for help but then it hit me: I'm just an infant.

I shot up from my position to the point where I was sitting upright with my arms as support. breathing heavily, I looked around and saw that I was in my bedroom. I stared at my hands and saw that they were exactly the same as they were before I slept. I sighed in relief and rubbed my face.

~What was that?~ I thought, recalling the dream. ~Was it a vision of some sort?~  I shook my head and pushed the thought to the dark corners of my mind. I don't want to be thinking of this now, I need to find Tony.

"Tony?" I called out as I wrapped myself back into my jacket. "Tony?" I called out again as I looked around. Then a muffled and distant voice replied "I'm downstairs Al!" I turned to face the door and made my way to the stairs. I slowly walked down as I hopelessly tried to zip my jacket all the way up. It seemed to be stuck 3/4 of the way. When I reached the end of the stair case it finally zipped up but pinched my neck in the process. "Ow!" I exclaimed. I touched the little wound and felt that it was bleeding. "Dammit". I sighed knowing that I'd have to put up with the sting.

"S U R P R I S E!" The joyous sound filled the room as I looked up and saw everyone who was dear to me smiling at me. I marvelled at the decor and the set up. I shot a confused expression as I looked at everyone "this is beautiful. But. What have I done to deserve this?" I asked as I fiddled with my jacket sleeve. They all looked at me with pity on their faces. They know I'm not accustomed to these kinds of social gatherings. Wow. I've been isolated for so long that parties practically scare me.

uncle Aaron sighed as he walked towards me and pulled me into a tight hug. "Allisson, I've been thinking.." He said as he rubbed my arms as I shot him a worried glance

"I've kept you from the world for too long. I thought it would be better off that way so you wouldn't ever get hurt but. I guess I was wrong. I've isolated you to the point where social gatherings frighten you and I never wanted that. I do want you to have friends and I am doing my best to give a normal life so..."

He took a piece of paper from his pocket and handed it to me. I looked at him, asking for some sort of assurance, and he gave me a nod. I unfolded the paper and what I read brought me to tears.

I'm going to school.
