Chapter 9

MESSI POV

"It all started 100 years ago, back then I had just started playing with Barcelona . Of course no bending allowed. I had just found out I was the Avatar. I was doubting it so much I mean little Lionel Messi of Argentina. One day I was in the Fire Nation going to practice my fire bending, my master, Zuko, said I was a natural.
I was practicing in an alley way, and I was trying to make the biggest fire I could but I didn't know anyone was with me. That was when I accidentally gave one of the founders of Real Madrid a third degree burn. It also caused a series of severe asthma attacks, I felt terrible. No one else found out about this except for the other founders but they didn't tell anyone otherwise people would've lost trust in the Avatar"  I said to my entire Team Avatar. I trusted them most and I had to tell them about that horrible mistake I had made.

"Woah," Reus breathed out "but if that happened 100 years ago why are you here in 2015?"

"Well after all that happened Zuko took me to the Spirit World that the amazing Avatar Korra opened so anyone to go through. He took me to visit his Uncle Iroh and he really helped me come to peace with myself and realise that I should go back to the human world and bring balance to the world."

"Oh okay, makes sense" said Zlatan.

I felt so much better now that I finally told someone about that secret I've been keeping for 100 years.

Now that I think back to that time I really miss Zuko and Iroh maybe after this war I'll definitely go visit them in the spirit world again.

"WAIT!! The Iroh. Dragon of the West!!  OMG THAT'S AMAZING. You are blessed. CAN WE GO TO THE SPIRIT WORLD PLEAASE??" Reus yelled excitedly.

Hazard slapped him on his head, "We have war you know"

Zlatan and I just laughed at them.

But we really need to act soon I imagine Ronaldo is going to strike first.

The world thinks the Avatar has disappeared never to return but I'll show them that he's still here to defend them from any kind of evil.

I knew these were my last moments on Earth as Lionel Messi the footballer. All of us were to be seen in a different light soon. More than just footballers we are Team Avatar and I am Messi the Avatar.
