The Wretched and Divine (CC fanfic) (Hiatus)

chp. 1

I hopped off the school bus at my stop, I kept my head down as I walked home. I can hear Dean, my twin brother, behind me long with his stupid friends.... they've already beat me up at school today... well almost everyday. Home life with my brother is even worse, he's always pissing me off pushing & shoving me into walls. Most days I believe that my brother is out to destroy my life, but each time I come back harder and stronger.

Today,I'm not in a pleasant mood, at school I got beat up in the halls by my brothers friends and shoved into my locker by my brother, himself. Luckily for me one of my best friends and band mate Jeremy let me out after being in there for a few minutes. The rest of the school day was just trying to avoid my brother.... I'm ashamed to call him my twin, I'm ashamed to say that we are related.

Walking up the pathway to the front door of our house, reaching the door I opened it and stepped inside only to snap the door shut behind me hitting Dean in the head cuz he wasn't paying attention. He shouted out and angerly opened the door slamming it shut behind him.

"What the fuck punk!" Dean yelled at me.

"Shut the fuck up jock!" I yelled back.

"Why did you slam the door in my face you little Freak!" Dean shouted at me.

"Are you that fucking stupid, Dipshit?!?" I sounded astonished. "Dean, you fucking stood aside while your fucking friends beat the shit out of me and then you, my twin brother, shoved me in my locker! Why do you bully me so much? What did I ever do to you to make you hate me so much? Huh?" I yelled at Dean and he got up right in my face, gripping my upper arms he lifted me a foot off the ground so that we're eye to eye.

"You breathe." Dean seethed. "Your the reason dad left us, your a mistake. Dad only wanted me, he never wanted you. Rayne, you should fucking slit your wrists and just fucking die, it would do us all a favor Stupid little freak." Dean growled and shoved me to the ground and then kicked me in my stomach a few times before he went upstairs to his room leaving me on the floor in the foyer clutching my stomach.

I layed there for a few minutes before I got up and went to my room.... which happens to be the basement, I chose this room cause it was further away from my dumbass brother and that the basement was HUGE, so my friends love to hang out in my room and have band practice.

An hour later I heard my mom pull into the driveway and I decided to go upstairs to ask her about her day. When she walked through the front door with bags of groceries, I saw that she was smiling. I quickly ran over to help her with the grocery bags. When we were done putting tge food away, mom looked like she was going to burst with happiness.

"Rayne, you'll never guess what happened today at the grocery store!" Mom said very excited. The look on her face said it all.

"OMG! Mom you met a guy!" I was happy for her she hasn't dated anyone since dad left us 3 years ago, so for her to meet someone is absolutely great.

"Yes, I did and OMG he's so handsome, he's sweet and funny and he helped me with my groceries loading them into my car. He plays drums in a band and their here in town for a week to do a few shows." Mom gushed about him. I've never seen her like this before.

"OK pause for a second.... what's his name and what band is he in?" I asked mom.

"His name is Christian Coma and he drums in...." I cut her off as soon as she said his name.

"BLACK VEIL BRIDES!!!!" I shouted in shock."Mom, you met CC from Black Veil Brides and you two flirted!" I was now excited. It's not everyday that someone catches a Rockstar's eye and it's not everyday that that someone is my mom.

"I know! We're going out for coffee later to get to know each other." Mom was practically jumping up and down with excitement.

"Mom I'm so happy for you. When are you two going out for coffee?" I asked mom.

"He's gonna pick me up in a couple of hours, so you and Dean can meet him." Mom informed me.

"Ok, that sounds great, but Dean is pissy today he's not in a good mood at all. I may be very excited and happy that you met someone, but Dean wont like CC right off the back." i frowned as i told mom.

"Dont worry honey, it'll be alright... so im gonna go and get ready." mom said moving to leave the kitchen.

"ok, well I'm gonna watch a movie." I walked off to the livingroom to find a movie to watch.

"Alright honey, could you listen out for him please."

"Yea sure." i said as i pulled out an action movie and put it in the dvd player.
