Chapter one
“TESS OMG, Chase just winked at me, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT” my best friend Angela said bouncing with excitement , girls can be so naïve sometimes, don’t get me wrong I love my friend but Chase Stevenson is just a heartbreaker but girls still fall at his feet. And Chase will never fall for Angie cause in his eyes she’s just a nerd, I’m not being mean or anything Its just the truth in fact I’m also a nerd and darn proud of being one.
“TESS!” she yelled so loud that all of the students turned and looked at us
“What?, god do you have to scream so loud?”
All of a sudden she stopped trying to talk to me and stared wide eyed at something behind me even the students went quiet, I slowly turned to see what’s the commotion about and their with all his stupid glory is the one and only Chase Stevenson.
“Can I help you?” I asked trying to be nice
“We’re going on a date, pick you up at seven tonight” he said arrogantly
Why the nerve of him, he didn’t even asked me if I wanted to go, he just ordered me to .I looked at Angie and I could see she was having a mini heart attack. While Chase just turned and walked the opposite direction.
“NO” I yelled loud enough that he could hear me, I watched as he stopped walking and slowly turned around.
“What did you just say?” he said like he didn’t hear me
“No, I will not go out with you” I said loud and clear
I heard people gasp including Angie, he probably never got rejected before, no wonder he’s so conceited.
He walk to were I was and said in a calm voice “Do you know who I am?, I’m Chase Stevenson incase you didn’t get the message but nobody rejects me” he said slowly like I didn’t understand
“Well I just did” I said smirking
“We’ll see about that” He said and stormed out of school
“What just happened?” I asked Angie
“You just became Chase stevenson’s new target, that’s what just happened”
