Tiffany was a 15 year old girl just starting her sophomore year in high school. She dreaded ever going back to that school. Everybody picked on her and she would fail most of her classes. She had jet black hair, and she had facial piercings.
Then there was Vanessa. Vanessa was Tiffany's best friend and they did everything together. She listened to the same bands, and she smoked cigarettes along with Tiffany.
They would always sneak out of the school and have a smoke break before their next classes. They didn't go by any of the rules and they would always get detention or in school suspension.
Tiffany's father died when she was around 7 or 8. Her mother always wanted what was best for her, but she would always yell at Tiffany and tell her she wasn't good enough. Tiffany has run away several times, and was classified as a runaway.
Vanessa's home life isn't that great either. Her mother yells at her non stop, and her father lives far away from her. She has a step dad, and three other siblings.
Tiffany has a job at a coffee shop in her town. She likes working there because she thinks it's an escape from her home life. Vanessa works at McDonalds.
It all started at the coffee shop when Tiffany's life changed forever.
