How Does It Feel. Part 1

Synthia runs her fingers along the spines of the books upon the man's bookshelf. His house having a library built into it to keep her wishes fulfilled. She is always reading, always escaping her reality. Ever since he had brought her into his home, when she was far younger than she is now.

She hears the sound of a door opening, with the slight irritate-able noise of a creak, that goes undetected by most living souls. Synthia grabs a stool from the side of the shelf that she is looking through, setting it down in the middle and stepping upon it, trying to read the titles displayed on the spines at a higher shelf.

"Ma'Lady. Master Elis is requesting your presence." Maiden Bell notifies her. She steps from the stool and looks at the Maiden, "why must he need me?" She hesitates and steps closer to Synthia, whispering as if he would hear her speak such forbidden words. "Since you are of age, he is desiring for your company far more than ours, Ma'Lady." She bows her head and walks away in a hurry.

Synthia takes a deep breath and straightens her dress, leaving the library for his study up the steps, just beside the door to the library. The floor slightly creaks beneath her feet as she walks to the door, where he awaits just behind it.

She takes a deep breath and enters his study. "Elis. You have need of me?" She watches his back, his front view standing at the window. She looks at his light brown hair, loosely hanging over the collar of his white button-down dress shirt. No matter what he does, he always dresses for the best occasion.

"Indeed I have, Ms. Synthia." He turns from the window and looks at her with a smirk. "I want to show you something." He walks up to her and offers his elbow. She nods her head slightly for gratitude and slips her arm through, allowing him to guide her to their destination.

They exit the study and he leads her down the steps, turning inward of the waiting room, guiding her to the door that sits in between the two steps on either side of the room. Not too far from her library. He looks at her, with sincere cruelty. "No one is allowed in here other than who I say. Understood?" Synthia nods slightly, but a smirk is formed within her mind. Of course Elis.

He takes out a key from inside his pocket and unlocks the door, letting it open on its own, for it has no knob to it, just a key hole. "In you may go, My Dearest." Synthia steps through, finding it difficult to see from the little light entering the room. "Elis. I can not see. Where is the light?" He walks in and shuts it behind him, locking it with his key.

"There is light in the other room. Use the wall to guide your steps." Every word he spoke kept sounding further and further away. Synthia grumbles, just walking forward, with her hands out in front of her to keep herself from hitting anything. I always hated his foolish games.

Soft silk touches her fingertips, making her step back. Her heart racing from the sudden touch in the dark. She takes a deep breath, calming herself down. She reaches forward once more and grabs the silk, pulling it from her way and light fills her sight. Blinding her from the darkness she had grown use to. "You arrived." Elis says, as if it was a surprise. "Why must that corridor be very long." She complains in a demand, blinking until her vision became bearable. He chuckles, "so my mansion does not frighten my guests. Nor cause a putrid smell." He wrinkles his nose and Synthia became confused. She walks further into the room, looking around for anything foul, but finding nothing within the chambers.

She stops when she notices a cage, she sees little blood drops on the inside and she looks at Elis in bewilderment. He smirks, "do not worry, My Sweet. For I will not hurt you." He steps up to her, looking down into her eyes with a sinister smile. "Unless you ask me to." Chills run down her spine, making her shake beneath his height.

He chuckles, finding this act amusing. "Come. I have a surprise for you." He doesn't offer his elbow this time, but she does as he says and follows him from behind. He removes a curtain, revealing more steps to go up. He leads her to the top and opens a door. Synthia steps through just after him and he snaps his fingers, the lights coming on. She sees a naked man on a metal table, his wrists and ankles bound by rope. The man is unresponsive, but his chest is still slightly moving.

Synthia stares at Elis's back in confusion. "Why is this man here?" Elis turns and smiles at her, "this is my surprise to you." He walks over to a counter in the corner of the room, moving things from it and setting them done on a small table that is able to slide around on wheels.

Synthia shivers as she inches closer to the sleeping man. "Would you like him awake or asleep, My Dear?" She looks at the man's face, finding it odd for him to be asleep if she wishes to speak with him. "Awake." He nods and hands her a pair of doctor gloves, and puts his hands into a pair himself.

He smirks at the naked man and grabs the small table, sliding it over and Synthia sees liquids, needles, and many other metal tools. He picks up a clear liquid and opens it, circling it underneath the man's nose. The man wakes up and begins to panic. Elis puts the liquid away and smiles at me.

"What would you like to do first?" Synthia freezes, her insides not feeling right, her mind slipping into a blank state. "...wh-wh...at..." He chuckles and she stares at the man who looks like he's about to pass out. She notices that he can't speak. Is he a mute? She wonders and focuses on that to keep from completely drifting away.

"The man can not speak, for his tongue has been removed." Elis begins to laugh and Synthia starts to panic. What game is he playing!? She's frozen stiff, her blood running cold as her eyes slowly drift toward the man with an evil smile. "I shall help you, my Darling." He picks up a carving knife and moves toward her side, standing right behind her. He places the knife into her hand and hovers it around the man's body. "Where would you like to pierce, My Dearest?" His breath tickles the back of her neck.

Her blood runs cold at the thought of harming this man. "Wh..." She clears her throat. "What has he done to deserve such treatment?" Her voice speaks firmly, trying to appear strong and unfazed. "Went into this room without my permission." He whispers, but she shakes her head.

Using her hand, he cuts the man's stomach open from hip to hip. She gasps and stares in shock. Her insides begin to spin, causing her to feel sick. He removes the carving knife from her hand and back onto the table. "Go ahead, reach inside. It feels wonderful." She shakes her head, her heart aching from trauma. He goes back to his side of the table, slipping his hand inside the man's stomach. "It feels amazing when he's still alive. All the organs still at work." He pulls his hand out, bring intestines with it. She stares at the blood flowing everywhere, the organ in his hand, and the man's eyes rolling with soundless screams from the agony. "He is going into shock. He will be dead soon."

Elis grabs a syringe and a liquid container, and injects the man in his chest. He is revived and twitching from pain. What am I seeing..? Elis chuckles to himself, setting the intestine down on the man's upper stomach.

"Look at that Synthia. It is quite a beautiful sight." He smiles down at the slice, licking his lips. "Well?" He turns his sight to her. "What do you think?" She shakes her head slowly, covering her mouth and grabbing ahold of her stomach. "Don't worry, My Darling, soon this will not be a sickening sight." He grabs another syringe and injects the man, his eyes closing slowly.

"Shall we clean up and get ready for supper." She turns away and runs out, ripping the gloves off, running through the darkness and freeing herself from the hidden door, rushing for the library and slamming the doors shut.

She leans her back against the door, her head facing up to the ceiling and her eyes shut, catching her breath. "I live with a Beast..." She slides down the door and her body falls weak, her energy drained and her mind engulfed in exhaust.
