The day dragged on as usual and I sat back listening to gossip

"I heard Killa C[Me] getting her own personal guard yo!"

"Deadass!?"

"Yea because shes leaving soon and some bitches upstairs have a hit out on her"

"They dont want nun Cj a beast yo on everything"

"Thats the thing yo WE know how she get down they dont"

"Yea they some new bitches anyways always hating on a trill ass chick for no reason"

"You know her pops aint with that shit"

"True!! Dont he run these streets?"

"Yup he like god round here when he walks on the sidewalk its like he walking on water yo"

"Damn all that?"

"Yep all that and a bag of chips" I said jumping into the convo standing at the edge of the table

"Daaaamn you like royalty out here in these streets especially the hood they praise yall"

"They just might ill see how my blocks holding up when I get out check on Papa hustle make sure he aint lagging same old" I say shrugging

"You have had a hit out on you since you was 10"

"Actually since I was born and seen my first body at the age of 4 so yea I live a very "Envyed' life but its not all that just the hand I was delt Papa taught me make with what you got" I say smiling

"You should start fucking with us im Leylany thats Chenika, Christina, Laura, and Marisol" The stud said licking her lips

"That I should" I said smirking

As if on cue Mookie walks over to my side "This my righthand" I say gesturing towards M "Yep & Im her shooter her wife her baby moms her everything! No one can take my place" She says getting defensive "And im the same to her and then some" I said smiling "So.....Yall a thing?" Marisol asked quietly "Nah none of that" I said "We just mad cool" M says looking at me smiling "Damn skippy" I say chuckling

I then felt someone tugging at my arms I turned to be faced by a guard but he wasnt like the others im familiar with he must be new I say to myself his name tag read "Alex" I scrunched up my eyebrows he doesnt belong here obviously I turned back around and continued my convo only to have 2 holes burn into the side of my face

I look up slowly "Yes sir? Anything I can help you with like maybe going to look for a life or some shit!?" I said laughing he just continued to stare without so much as a peep hmm these are my last few days why not have fun? I smirk to myself and get up and start my walk to the yard

Walking through everyone I hear the scrubbing of his heavy Timberlands and the cling of his keys colliding with his hip I just smirk to myself he wont get lost will he? I decided to test this I ducked down and began walking behind a group of females in the opposite I could see him frantically look around and I slid into the laundry room and sat behind one of the huge bins

I take a deep breath and I lay my head back on the huge plastic bin

So hes my personal guard huh? Cant even keep up with a 5'5 female with brown curly hair I mean to anyone else I stick out like a black sheep but hes a newbie so fuc-

My train of thought is knocked off when I heard the scrubbing of those timberlands and the clinking of those keys and froze in place as I heard his husky deep voice slide into my ear "I dont know where she is" He said to whoever was on the phone ".........." " but iguess I should head back now and see if shes back at the table call you later" he says as he ends the call and trudges back to the eating area

I let out a low sigh as he retreats down the hall I then pick myself up and peek down the hall only to see him leaning back against the wall staring at me "Cant get lost huh?" I say smirking "Thats not apart of my job description" He says bluntly "Didnt your momma teach you how rude staring is?" I ask cutting my eyes at him

"Yea but momma isnt paying my bills this job is and if it means i have to go against what she taught me to make a living then I guess i will have to apologize to her later" He says shrugging "Fucking asshole" I mumble "Mhm" He says

"Why do I need a "personal" guard when they have a hit out on me? Not the other way around" I say rolling my eyes "Because of just that im not here to babysit you just make sure no harm comes to you according to your father if something happens to you hes going to raise hell my job is to make sure that never happens" He says smirking at the end

"A smile Yes! I thought you was a emotionless freak that loves staring at my body" I say chuckling "A what?" He says laughing and coughing "Hehehe nothing" I say walking towards the yard "Are you really going out there or is this another game of hide & go seek?" He says huffing "Hmmm Ill go this time" I say smiling "Good" He says sighing

I get to the door to the yard and roll my eyes as I am being pat down they then pull out a house arrest band and Alex speaks up "Im going out with her thats not necessary ma'am" He says looking straight at her "Ohh ok" she says blushing I mentally throw up really why in front of me?

Like ew I push past him and walk out the door and sit under a tree with my legs crossed "Hey Cameron!" He says jogging to where I am "Sup?" I say lowly "Why you leave like that?" He asks sitting down next to me "Yall was being nasty" I say scrunching up my face he chuckles "You thought that was nasty?" "What you mean by that?" I ask giggling "Oh nothing, So this is what you do out here just watch?" He asks "Yep just watch....watching the world as I know it fall apart as always" I say looking at the fighting females

I feel someone staring at me and I turn to see Avery heading towards me "Oh shit" I say "What?!" Alex asks "That coming towards us" I say shaking my head "Who's that?" He asks "Ex girlfriend" I say as she comes into earshot just my luck she stood there for a good 5 minutes staring me up and down I just put my head down and laughed

"Fuck you laughing at?"She asks angrily "You" I say rolling over laughing harder "Who the fuck is he?" She asks rudely "No who the fuck is you?" Alex asks taking offense to her tone and her attitude "The female she's in love with!" She says "Wait a minute Thou shall not lie" I say softly Alex begins laughing And I can't help but to join in he has the craziest laugh that I couldn't breathe I was rolling

I felt a stinging sensation in my cheek and looked at Avery dumb founded this bitch really hit me?!? I jumped up and charged towards her pushing her down and throwing blows at her left and right this bitch thought it was ok to hit me? I didn't stop as all of her drunken nights flooded back to me I wore her ass out and I'm guessing Alex understood I wasn't going to stop anytime soon so he pulled me off of her and I kiked her in her nose sending her into unconsciousness I continued to try to get out of his arms I wanted ever so badly to kill her ass

"Cameron stop please they are coming with the guns stop!" I instantly stop and stood behind him catching my breath"No guys She *Points at Avery* slapped her *gestures towards me* and Cameron being the daughter of No Good fought back" He said chuckling a little "Ohh That's His Daughter?" One of the guards said sounding scared "Yes" he answered pulling me from behind him "Woah she's like a spitting image of him just a sexy one" Another guard says biting his lip "Stop it" Alex ordered they grew quiet and dragged Avery back to her cell

I fell to the ground and just watched the day turn to night before I knew it Alex had to walk me back to my cell I trudged after him studying his features his 5'11 frame was a masterpiece to my eyes I was just slowly trying to understand it I shook my head a little get a grip I said to myself I walked into my cell then heard someone clear their throat and turned around to see Alex staring at me "I don't get a thank you?!" He whisper yelled "Thank you Alexis" I said smiling

"It's just Alex...." He said bluntly "I like Alexis better" I say as I take off my jumpsuit "Whatever" He replied lowly "Goodnight Lexi" I say as I get comfortable in my metal cot "Goodnight Cancer" He says closing and locking my cell "Clever asshole" I say "I know right" He says cheesing I chuckle to myself and quickly fall asleep
