CHRIS'S P.O.V
I wake up to a bright room. my body extends as I stretch kicking the blankets off the end of my bed. I peek over at the time and it says 9:30 am "ughhhh" I let out standing up. I walk into the bathroom looking in the mirror "what the Lord did you do in your sleep". I fix my face so it doesn't look so tired and I run to dd's door (my older sister) *knock knock knock* "come in" I hear a little voice say. I run in the door and say "hey are you ready for tonight". "yessss I can't wait I cant" she says over and over until she notices I've already left the room. I run over to Marie's room and I pound on the door. "go away" I hear her say so I just walk away. next I run to keya's room and I just open the door, "hey what's up you ready for tonight" "yeah yeah chris I know I remember the party". I walk out of the room and then I go downstairs.
I start to cook breakfast. "mmmm bacon and eggs bacon and eggs bacon and eggs" I keep singing until I hear a loud shut up from Joe.
"excuse you!" I'm cooking here I yell. "I have the right to sinnggg lalalalaal" and then a egg hits my head. "JOE! GET THE HELL OUT". He runs out laughing and then he runs into jai. (his husband) "oh hi babe" he says trying so hard not to laugh. jai then says "what did you do" squnting his eyes. " oh nothing to you babyy, well at least not this time" joe says as he grabs jais waist. Then they kiss. I say a big awwww and then they walk up the stairs and Marie comes down. "What happened!" She says laughing. "Joe happened" I run up the stairs yelling to Marie to finish breakfast while I shower. I run into dd and she doesn't laugh but she looks sad "WHAT'S WRONG!" I yell "nothing I'm just lonely " she says all sadly. "Me too, but it'll get better". She leaves me walking down the stairs. So I jump in the shower. I clean off and then I put on sweatpants and a "I would cuddle you so hard" shirt and some weird socks I found in Marie's room in her sock drawer. I walk out of the bathroom and I slip on a book. "OUCH" I yell. "Who's book is this dammit" no one answered so I ran down the stairs rubbing my head because I hit it on the wall and I see everyone sitting on the couch with some guy I've never seen. I go over and sit down. "Chris this is shawn" Marie says eyeing me. "My brother".
"Hi" I say softly starting to blush
"He's cute" I think to myself. "I.. have to go upstairs. I'll talk to you guys later" I smile and get up and walk away. I run upstairs and slam my door. "HOLY lord".
I wake up noticing I fell asleep it's 5 p.m and the party starts in three hours. I get up pulling on some skinny jeans and I keep my shirt I'm already wearing on. I walk out in the hallways and see shawn. "Hi" I say trying not to look him in the eyes so I start cleaning things "how are you chris" he says but I can tell by the way he's talking he's smiling. "I'm doing good. I guess. how about you?" "justtt fine" "we should go downstairs and be with everyone else because yeah no let's go " I say starting to go down the stairs.
Its party time and there is hella people.
I walk downstairs and I almost fall at the bottom but Shawn catches me.
"thank you" I say with a shy smile
"no problem" he says smiling like he has something up his sleeve.
I go into the kitchen and I see Marie talking to some guy. He's cute. and they look like they're having a good time. so I leave them to it. I walk out into the dining room and I see shawn at the bar so I go and sit next to him and shyly say hi. he smiles and says it back.
"we should hangout sometime" he says looking me in the eyes. so I just look away.
"Isn't that what we're doing right now?"
"yes but I mean.. alone" he says with a little blush on his cheeks. you can see it clearly.
"Okay well I'm free tomorrow" I say standing up.
"So am I.. coffee?" he says slightly smiling.
"I'd like that" I say looking down.
"So it's a date?"
"it's a date" I smile and walk away.
