After listening to chanelle rave about how hot my neighbor is for an hour we decided to go to the cafe Suzy and Alana were working at.

"Shotgun" chanelle yelled as she ran to Ivy's Jeep.I mumble a few curse words before sliding into the back seat

"Play arctic monkeys"I suggested ,since I was peering over chanelles shoulder as she was scrolling through her playlist

"Do I wanna know?,or R U mine?" She asked looking between ivy and I
"Do I wanna know?" Ivy and I said in synchronization

Chanelle gigled and do I wanna know by Arctic monkeys started to play.

Ivy,Chanelle and I walked into the cafe greeted by the warm and cosy aroma of coffee and chocolate.

We all walked up to the counter to find Alana wiping the countertop

"Hey Alana " I said ,smiling as she looked up with a exhausted look

"Ugh,I have an hour and 36 minutes until I get out of this cafe hell.I swear every time I enter this place I want to quit but I can't,they have a really good pay that I need for my mom,"she sighs and wipes her hand against her knees

"What can I get you?"she finally asks

"Hot cholate"
"Caramel mocha"
"Latte please"

I have to have my latte.

"Coming right up" Alana sighs and turns back to the coffee machine

Suzy walks out of the back room with the identical exhausted face as Alana

She gives us a small nod before working on making a hot chocolate for ivy

"Alana I told you before ,just quit ,I have enough of you looking like a mess ,I just don't want you to become all depressed and sad at some under rated cafe ,so just quit,and if you want to work to get pay for your mom then just work at a fun job not some lousy boring one,you don't have to take my advise but its for the better"ivy was always the one to help us through our life ,that's why she's like the mother in the group,she'd hit us if we swear,help us on our failing classes,give us really good advise and tips

Ivy is the only person in our group that loves us more than herself she would do anything to protect us,since she's been through so much we can't even help her for.

"Thanks ivy"alana gives her a thankful smile and gives her ,her hot chocolate

I soon get my latte and chanelle gets her mocha,we later get into a conversation that chanelle has been dying to tell alana and suzy

Aden's P.O.V

"I officially love Lana" Jack announces as he enters the base

"And the chapter begins,the journey of Jacks love" masons says imitating a posh accent

I chuckle at the failure and turn back to Jack

"What do you mean you love her?"
I ask with a worried look

"She's funny,she's pretty,she's cute,did I mention she likes msfts"Jack explains his face filled with affection

Mason rolls his eyes and I furrow my eyebrows

"I have been friends with this douchebag for 12 years and never has he once thought of his friends"mason sighs ,walking to the couch I was sitting on

"What,what do you mean?"jack asks looking between mason and I confused ,he looks like a lost puppy

"I mean ,Aden is head over heels in love with her,since when they first met idiot"mason explains shaking his head in disbelief

"I am not head over heels in love dude,relax,I just like her alright, its not gonna go any further she barely knows me and if she found out I doubt she would ever want to speak to a liar and a douchebag that confuses her every single time I am near her"I said,all emotions drained from my face

"I'm so sorry man,i didn't know"jack looked at me in pity

"Ofcource you didn't know ,your brain is as small as you're d*ck"mason growls and I just laugh as they bicker too and fro

Lanas P.O.V

Ivy and chanelle dropped me off home after spending most of our time at the cafe

It was 7:30pm and my mom wasn't home yet so I had to make dinner for two tonight,that's if Sean decides to come back

"I'm home"I yell walking into my deserted home

"Hey Lana "Sean shuffles from out the kitchen

Hes eyes droopy and he walks with a limp ,I run up to him and see he has a bruise on his left eye and his mouth was bleeding

"What happened?"I asked worried helping Sean back into the kitchen

"Nothing don't help me,I don't need your help,back off"he yelled with a slurr

I shuffled closer to him and took a sniff of his clothes

Oh my god

"Sean ,why do you reek of alcohol?"I ask concerned

"Just f*ck off"he yells and limps to his room

I yell after him but even with a limp his faster than me.

I don't believe he was drinking,he's only 12 for Christ's sake

I run upstairs and dress into more cosy and comfortable clothes, I walk downstairs to prepare dinner for tonight.

I'm gonna have a big talk with sean tonight
