Ally
"Ally," my mom yelled from downstairs "You're going to be late for your first day"
It was my first day of my last year in the hell hole, we call high school. I mean learning is great... but school... no...
"Hang on... I'll be down in a second," I screamed back to her.
I got to school just in time, bursting through the doors, the second the first bell rang.
Homeroom came with an unexpected twist- There's a new girl... Stevie Boebi.
She sits right in front of me. All I could see of her was her flawless hair but i could already tell that she had to be beau----- WHAT AM I THINKING!?!
WHY DO I EVEN CARE ABOUT THIS?
(secretly i knew exactly what was going on but i thought that if i didn't admit it to myself it wouldn't be real)I had all of my classes up til lunch with this fucking new girl and every single class, she sat directly in front of me. Not once had i even caught a glimpse of Stevie Boebi's face and I'm starting to question if she even has one.
I had just realized at the beginning of lunch that my boyfriend was supposed to be in my third period class but he wasn't there. How could some worthless girl keep me from remembering my boyfriend?
I walked over to an empty table and began eating, hoping that he just came to school late and that he would show up soon.
Just then i heard a voice behind me. "You're Ally Hills, right?," I turned around and saw her. It was Stevie. So she actually does have a face. Wait? Why is she talking to me? "Hello?" she said waving her hand in front of my face. I was just staring at her. "Uhh, yeah, sorry." I broke my silence. "You're that new girl, Stevie, right?"
"Yes. Umm sorry to bother you but I didn't really know where to sit and i noticed that you were sitting alone and I was wondering if it would be okay if i sat with you?," she said, somewhat scared sounding. "Uh sure?," I replied slightly hesitant. She sat down in the seat next to me and started asking me about how school here was. I wasn't really paying attention but somehow I managed to answer them to her standards. My mind was on where Max was. I haven't seen him since he left for Hawaii in the middle of the summer and i really missed him.
Stevie
I was trying to be friendly and actually talk to Ally Hills but she didn't seem like she was in the mood to talk. Was it because she didn't like me or because her mind was in another place? "So what kind of activities do you do?, " I asked her. "I play basketball." She said in a half sassy, half distant tone. After that I decided to just shut up because she obviously didn't want to be bothered with me.
Ally
Stevie was starting to get on my nerves but i didn't want to be mean to her so I just continued answering. I think she finally got the hint and shut up after a while but when she stopped talking, i felt bad. She was just sitting there frowning. I realized she didn't have friends and i should try to be nice to her. "ring" lunch was over but i had to say something to make her think I didn't hate her. "So maybe we can hang out sometime" I said as she walked away. She turned around and said, "Okay. Are you free after school today?" I felt so bad but, " No. Sorry. I have basketball practice." she looked upset. "But we can exchange phone numbers and plan a day when were both free to hang out." she gave me her phone and I gave her mine and we added each other as contacts.
We only had one class in the afternoon with each other and we sat nowhere near each other so she wasn't really distracting me. I was completely focused on my boyfriend, Max.
The second that school got out I called him and asked him why he wasn't in school. He told me it was because he was still in Hawaii. He was going to be back in two days. I wanted to have him back now but i guess two days is not that long.
The next two days went by fast. I saw Stevie during lunch every day and We actually started to become friends instead of me Pitying her but I was avoiding seeing her out of school.
The day Max got back, Stevie wanted to hang out. I told her that I couldn't because my boyfriend just got back and I had to see him. The second I said boyfriend she looked terrified. I wasn't quite sure why but i had an idea.
