Before I could say anything else the doorbell rang. I walked to the door, Ally following behind, to see who it was. I opened it up to see a man who worked for the mail service. He had a box in his hand. I took it from him and said thank you. I shut the door on him and walked back to the kitchen.

Ally snatched the box out of my hand and put it on the kitchen table. "Is this the 'envelope' you were supposed to get that told you if you got into the team or not? OHH MY GOSH! When you open the box is a whole bunch of sparkles gonna pop out, and a huge sign that says 'CONGRATULATIONS MOTHER FUCKER YOU GOT IN!'?" Ally questioned.

Is she crazy? "Ally the box isn't even that big for that to happen." I started laughing at her reasoning for the box "Besides Michael, the coach, said it was gonna be in an envelope. This is probably telling me that I didn't get in, and I'd have better luck next time, and inside the box is a stuffed animal that says 'sorry not sorry' across the stomach of it."

Ally started to laugh again. I was starting to wonder if she ever stops laughing. "I don't think so, big things are for winners! Small things are for losers, and seriously Dinah? A stuffed animal that says 'sorry not sorry' on it? If I was the coach and you didn't get in, you would be lucky enough if you got a text message saying 'sorry not sorry, but you didn't get in :)' So, there is only one way to really find out what is in the box!" Ally said as she walked over to were my knifes are kept, and grabbed one.

She handed me it, signaling to the box. Im so nervous. What if I didn't get in. I don't want to be rejected. I started cutting off the tape on the box. After I finished I put the knife down and thought of all the possible things that could be in the box.

Ally stept closer to me, and grabbed my hand. "Don't worry, I'm sure you got in! They would be stupid to not let an amazing player like you on the team!"

I started opening the box, even more. As it opened there was an envelope. I picked it up to see a sweatshirt laying underneath it. I opened up the letter first.

Ally tried reading it, but I pushed away from her. "Come on! Tell me, did you get in?" Ally questioned, as she snatched the paper out of my hand.

I looked at her, trying to look as sad as I could ever be. "No, I didn't! I can't believe this is happening to me." I let the first drop slip from my eye.

Ally came around, and hugged me. "I'm sorry Dinah. I'm sure there was a mistake. Maybe you read it wrong or something." Aww, she feels so bad for me. Ally started reading the paper, to see if what I said was true.

After she finished reading it she had a huge smile on her face. "SEE DINAH I TOLD YOU YOU READ IT WRONG!" She pointed to the top of the page. "You got in!" She said, and embraced me in a huge hug.

I got out of her hug and started laughing. "I know I did! I was pretending I didn't to see your reaction when I said I didn't. Let me just say, it was priceless!" I continued to laugh at her.

She slapped me on my shoulder. "Hey! I can't believe you did that! I was about to cry because you didn't. Just because you lied I'm keep your sweatshirt now!" She said as she grabbed the red sweatshirt out of the box.

I aload her to Take it. It was probably a use less sweatshirt any ways, and its gonna be 2 sizes to big on her, so she is gonna look like a clown.

For the rest of the night me and Ally stayed up watching movies together, and talked after we finished all the movies.

I sure did miss my best friend. She moved out of California a year ago. So we only got to face time each other, sence then. I don't know how long Ally is gonna stay, but I won't mind if it is forever.

For this past year I had no one I could really talk to. I mean I had other friends, but non of them were as close as Ally and I.
