"Shut up, Blondie! Quit freakin' whining and take it like the idiot coward you are!"

You were angry. I mean, of course you were, considering everything that's happened to you in the past few months.

Your little sibling got influenced by the snobby little brats in the academy. Your parents decided to work almost every day and go on date nights any time they were given a break, practically tossing all responsibilities onto your shoulders without a second thought, claiming you were old enough to take care of your sister and yourself.

You were only sixteen.

After that, your boyfriend, Link, had decided to cheat on you with the "oh-so-perfect" Zelda. When you found out, you were more disappointed and heartbroken than angry. You didn't understand why he would even think of promising you his eternal love, accepting your own true feelings towards him, only to crumple them all up and rip them apart before shoving it down your throat.

That wasn't when the so-called "hero" came crawling back to you, begging for your forgiveness and comfort when he found out Zelda was cheating on him with Groose. Groose of all people!

Not to mention Link's sudden change in demeanor when you'd apologized and told him kindly that your love towards him had diminished.

Nor the moment your world finally came crumbling down around you.

"I just... I'm so sorry, Link, but I can't trust you anymore. We can try being friends of course, but the most I could do for you is assure you that Zelda definitely made a huge mistake, doing that to you..."

"Ugh. You know what, (Y/n)? No. I made a mistake. I made a mistake being your boyfriend, I can't believe anyone ever liked you! You do know I hung out with you out of pity, right? Yeah, I just wanted to be nice and welcome the new girl to school, but then you just had to go and suck us all in to your life for attention. You're pathetic, (Y/n). No wonder your family hates you!"

"L-Link-?"

"Shut up! Can't you see?! You've ruined my reputation! People are thinking I'm some kind of player because of you! Get away from me, get the heck out of my life! I regret even coming here, I hate seeing that ugly face of yours!"

After that, you had ran. You sprinted quickly to an isolated part of Skyloft and cried. All you could ask yourself was "why?! Why me?!"

Just what had you done to deserve all this?

You ran out of tears after wailing and sobbing after goddesses knew how long. You returned home only to find that everything was a mess. The kitchen cupboards were all opened, the living room sofa cushions were haphazardly strewn across the carpeted floor, the carpet itself was stained with dirt and grass stains, and way too much more to describe. You could only imagine what the upstairs looked like.

The worst part?

Both your parents were standing smack dab in the middle of the room, glaring daggers into your shock-filled (e/c) orbs.

"(Y/n) (L/n)!"

They blamed you.

"What have done to our house?! We leave you alone for one night and this happens! We are truly disappointed in you, young lady! Clean up this mess right this instant!"

Lies.

'You horrible excuses for parents have been leaving your underage daughter to take care of a snot-nosed brat you call her younger sister! From what I've been told, your job gave you two months off, and you only decide to visit a week into the second month?! Why don't you clean this all up!'
