Eighteen

Five minutes past and I was finally eighteen. I went to bed to wait until morning..... I was suddenly woken up when I heard a huge knock on my door. "Ughhhhhh who's at the door?" I asked "It me Princess." My maid Anna said Anna is more like a gramma to me than a maid. "Come in!" I suddenly chirped being excited with what she had bought me. The door opened and Anna came in. "Good morning princess Happy Birthday." "Thanks Gramma Anna your the best." Anna gavre me my usual birthday breakfast. Toast with butter, a fruit salad, blueberry pancakes, a happy birthday muffin and a tall glass of juice. As I was eating Anna went outside to retrieve something. She brought in a huge box outlined with pink and bnkue with little doves on it. I stuffed down the rest of my breakfast and wiped my lips. "Gramma Anna I am done with my breakfast may I please have my gift." Anna chuckled and said, "You just lovge my gifts child." She took the huge box and set it at the foot of my bed . I grabbed it quickly and replied, "Because they are the best. Thanks Gramma." I opened it and ripped the paper out of the box, On the bottom of the box was a beautiful blue gown. I gasped out, "Anna it is beautiful, I'll just have to wear it to the crowning and ball!" I ran to her and hugged her. Anna smiled and said, "Get ready princess for your crowning I'll send a hairdresser and someone to do your make up." I smiled and ran to my bathroom. I had a regular bathroom, it used to be bigger but I made daddy split it so that I could have a smaller bathroom and a bigger bedroom. I ran to my tub and filled it up with water, then I put rose scented bubble bath in it and got undressed.......... (After shower) I went to my sink and brushed my teeth. Then I went to my room and got dressed. The dress looked amazing on me and I paired it off with blue sparkling heels. The dress was blue with ruffles at the bottom and diamonds on the top half it had no sleeves and was amazing. I sat down on my chair and waited until the hair dresser got here. The hair dresser was one of y many maids and Ber name was Caren. I wasn't permitted to talk to Caren because many maids spread rumors so I stayed very quiet as she did my hair. Next she took make up and did my face, she gave me baby blue eye shadow, madscara, red lipstick and blush. I wanted to look pretty and not put too much make up on. When she finished I went to my mirror. My hair was done in pretty curls with my bangs hanging out. I had on a little silver necklace with pearls and matching earrings. I had a small silver tiara with pearls on it, althogeth I would say I look fabulous. Anna walked into my room and burst into tears. " What's wrong Anna don't you like the way I look." Anna shook her head saying, " You look beautiful my dear. You remind me so much of your mother. She looked just like you or rather you look just like her." I smiled and said, "You think so thanks Gramma." Then I walked out the room to check on the ballroom and crowning preparations. I was kinda sad because my dad wouldn't be here. Ever since Mom "died" dad has been drifting away. He goes away on important business and doesn't come back for months. I haven't seen him in five months and he probably won't be here for my crowning and ball. I shook my head to make the thoughts go away and walked to my ballroom. As I walked in I gasped out how beautiful it was. I was so amazed I jumped up and down with excitement. (Can someone find a pic of the ballroom) In the left corner their was a huge tabnle with a bunch of different type of sweets and juice on it. We also had caterers serving regular food. Next to the table was a big chocolate fountain with little strawberries next to it on a plate. In the middle of the room was a huge dance floor and surrounding it were tables. Then near the tables was a huge staircase where I would come down from.
Thanks for reading guys I know its a little short but at least I updated early. Have a nice day if anyone can find me a ballroom I'll dedicate a chapter to you. I didn't proofread it, I'll proofread it when I have time. Oh and that's the dress she wears except she doesn't have a feather on it nor a mask.
