Hyunsik was worried about Eurah when he found out that she wasn't at her aunt's house the whole night. He searched all possible places that Eurah would go to & he found her sitting beside her brother's grave. Eurah looked so tired & he could tell she's been crying. Eurah asked him to go somewhere else & they ended up at the park,she explained to him everything about the engagement thing & he finally understood that it wasn't Eurah's will & the urge to protect Eurah from the misery that she will surely face getting married to the guy she doesn't love got more stronger. He couldn't bear to see her suffer,he wants to take care of her all his life. He knows Eurah has been into a lot of stress so he decided to make her happy all day. They went for a movie,enjoyed at the park but something is off...Eurah's laughter isn't as lively as before...he can see sadness in her eyes...
Past 7pm already but they still don't have plan to go home. They keep on walking leaving the car on the other end of the bridge. Eurah stopped walking when she realized where they are...it's the place where she had her heart broken into pieces last night. "Waeyo..?'' Hyunsik looked at her, ''Nothing..'' She looked at the exact spot where she & Changsub talked & she felt the pain again. ''Something wrong??'' ''Nothing..'' Hyunsik sighed. ''I heard you met up with hyung last night...'' he said reffering to Changsub. ''Nae..'' Hyunsik couldn't find a word to say..he felt that something wrong happened between Eurah & Changsub last night. Changsub really looked messed up,as well as Eurah. ''Eurah...about the engagement...'' ''waeyo..?'' ''Don't go...'' Eurah smiled at Hyunsik. ''Wae...??'' ''Just don't...'' Eurah sighed, ''I have no reason not to go...'' Hyunsik sighed with frustration & looked away. ''Then...let me be the reason for it..'' Eurah looked at him with confusion. Hyunsik faced her. ''Eurah...you know how much you mean to me...right?'' ''Nae oppa...you've been always there for me...gomawo..'' ''I really care for you a lot..aside from my family...you are the most important person to me..you know that...& there is nothing i can't do for you to be happy. I've always wanted you to be happy...it hurts me even more when you're sad..'' Eurah looked down...Hyunsik's words touched her heart. ''I'm always worried about you,as much as possible i want to do the best things for you...seeing you smile...knowing you are fine makes me happy..'' Hyunsik took a deep breathe..he finally had the courage to express his self...to talk about what he really feel. He's ready to take the risk. We've known each other for almost half of our lives...couldn't even imagine it without you..Eurah...i think it's about time i tell you this....'' His heart was beating so fast, ''Eurah i...'' He wasn't able to continue what he's about to say when he looked at her,he saw a tear fell from her eyes.. ''Wae..?' Eurah wipes her tears. ''Did I say soemthing wrong?'' ''Aniya oppa...it's just that...I'm so thankful for having you..you always make me smile whenever I'm feeling down.'' Hyunsik smiled but still worried. ''Then why are.you crying?'' ''Mianhae...'' Eurah couldn't stop her tears,she took a deep breathe. Hyunsik got more worried & confused, ''Mianhae..? For what..?'' ''I lied to you..even if i know i can trust you i still lied..'' Hyunsik looked at her trying 5o find answers in her eyes. ''What are you saying..?'' ''It's not that i don't trust you..i kept it as a secret coz i wasn't so sure about it yet,i couldn't even trust my self but i chose to deal with it alone.'' Hyunsik didn't say a word. ''But then it got out of hand..if only i told you about it maybe i wouldn't be here crying infront of you..'' tears kept running down her cheeks. ''Eurah...'' Hyunsik couldn't understand what's happening. ''Maybe if i told you earlier...this could've been prevented,just like what you did when i told you i liked Eunkwang.'' Hyunsik's heart suddenly beat fast..he feels like he doesn't wanna know what Eurah is about to say but he still listened. ''I've been infatuated to Eunkwang for a long time..i even mistaken it for fallinv inlove but you say it's not like that,you said it's not the way i think it is...well...you're right. But...i started liking someone else...'' Hyunsik felt like everything around him stopped. ''I didn't tell you about it...i was scared that it might be a mistake again..i wanted to be sure of it first..but...the moment i became sure about it...it's too late...'' Eurah faced Hyunsik. Hyunsik.couldn't say a word..he couldn't even move. ''Oppa...i love Changsub...'' The fountain show started dramatically..lighting the entire bridge..it was breathtaking view but Hyunsik could only see Eurah's face full of sadness,he can clearly see pain in her eyes & he knows that pain wouldn't just go with all those tears streaming down her face...& he was hurt.... Eurah looked at the fountain. ''I met up with him last night...i was thinking...maybe if i tell him...everything will be okay...then...maybe i wouldn't have to go on to that engagement. I was hoping he would give me reason not to be in that engagement,but i was wrong...he even congratulated me for it.'' Eurah tried to laugh but it was no use. ''I didn't even get the chance to tell him how i feel.'' Hyunsik felt like everything for him has come to an end just hearing Eurah's confession...her tears are like poison running to his veins making him numb,every word she said are like needles piercing through his heart...he couldn't breathe.. Eurah noticed he was not saying anything. ''Mianhae...it's all my fault...i shouldn't be crying infront of you..'' She wiped her tears & turned back at Hyunsik trying to hide her misery but Hyunsik held her hand & pulled her close to him & hugged her. Eurah was a bit surprised. ''Gwaenchanha...jinjja...gwaenchanha...'' Hyunsik took a deep breathe.. ''I'm here...you can cry it all out to me..'' Those words melt Eurah's heart & she started crying,she was trembling,Hyunsik hugged her tight. Eurah felt hopeless & weak,she needed someone to hold on to & she hugged back at Hyunsik. The fountain lights grew brighter but everything just got blurry to Hyunsik. Here he is on a romantic place wi5h the woman she love but all he can feel is pain. He's trying so hard to fight back the tears building up in his eyes but deep inside he's crying. Here is the woman he loves for his entire life crying in his arms for some other guy...no other than his friend...& the pain just killed him.
Changsub started walking away from that scene. Hyunsik's words keep banging in his mind..''i will have her back''
4 days before Eurah's engagement party ..
Peniel invited Eurah for dinner. ''So there's no turning back now huh..'' Eurah just smiled. ''Are you really sure about it?'' Ilhoon askes, Eurah looked at Hyunsik who is just staring at her ''Nae..'' Munhyuk sighed...''Aigoo...that's a very life changing decision...tou still have time to back out if you are havinv doubts...'' Minhyuk sais. Eurah glanced at Changsub who is at the living room watching TV alone. ''I don't have reason to back out..'' Eunkwang looked at Hyunsik & Hyunsik looked down. ''Well...i guess there's nothing more to do, let's just make this night memorable for you.'' Sungjae tried to lighten up the mood. ''Yah Changsub hyung why don't you join us here?'' Sungjae said but Changsub was already in the bedroom.
Hyunsik took Eurah to Aunt Minji's house. ''I need to leave soon..'' Eurah said. ''I still have ro prepare for it...'' ''Have you already booked a flight?'' Hyunsik asked, ''Not yet..'' Hyunsik was silent for a while. ''I'll take care if your ticket..'' ''huh?'' ''I said i'll take care of it...when do you plan to go?'' ''The party is gonna be on friday...so i guess...wednesday...'' ''ok..'' ''gomawo..'' ''you have any plans for tomorrow?'' ''Aniya..'' ''I'll pick you up tomorrow at 8am..'' ''Waeyo…?'' ''Nothing… we'll just go out..same thing...movie...mall..park..'' ''Ahh...arasseo...'' ''Go in now...take a rest..'' ''Nae..'' Hyunsik stood infront of the door for a while thinking of things to do for Eurah the next day. He still couldn't let go of her just like that..
The next day,Changsub woke up early,they still have 2 remaining days in their suspension,he's planning to wake up earlier everyday once the suspension is over so he can make up with all the things he missed on their practices. He's trying to focus his mind on other things but he couldn't stop thinking about Eurah. He couldn't take off from his mind the night he saw her with Hyunsik. ''Did he already confessed to her...? ani...if he did,things wouldn't be the same as now...'' He put on his jacket & decided to go for a walk since there's no one he could talk to in the house. Everyone is busy for practice,Hyunsik was out too.
''Did you sleep well? Your eyes are swollen..don't tell me you've been crying again..'' Hyunsik asked Eurah. ''ani oppa...just thinking about the engagement..'' ''Wanna quit?'' Eurah just smiled..''let's not talk about it...''
Hyunsik took Eurah for a movie,he chose a comedy one..he wanted to hear Eurah laugh again just like before. After the movie they went on shopping,choosing dress for each other,taking pictures on every photobooth they passed by. They went to the park where they usually hang out. Hyunsik could see Eurah smiling but something is missing..her eyes weren't as bright as before,it's full of sorrow,her laughter isn't as lively as before too & it's killing him knowing that he couldn't make her happy like before. They passed by an ice cream cart & decided to buy some. Eurah was busy choosing flavors for them when a car stopped infront of them. Hyunsik saw Changsub's reflection on the car's window. He looked at their back but he's not there. ''Oppa wae..?'' ''Ahh nothing..'' ''You like this one?'' ''Sure'' They spent the whole day in the park,food trip,telling stories,reminiscing their childhood..but they never mentioned anything about the engagement. Hyunsik doesn't want Eurah to be depressed. All day could've been perfect for both of them but he knows it's not gonna be like that anymore. While 9n the park,Hyunsik could sense someone has been following them...
Hyunsik took Eurah home at 4pm & went back to their dorm. No one is home yet. He was tired,he went to their room carrying the things he bought with Eurah. He looked at his copies of the pictures together,he was staring at Eurah's face..she still got that beautiful smile but not the smile he alwaya liked seeing in her face & he knows why. He took a deep breathe & dialed manager jiyong's number. ''Yobeoseyo..'' ''Ah...managey yong...'' ''Yes?'' ''Can you do me a favor?'' ''Nae...what is it?'' ''Can you please book a flight to Japan for tomorrow?'' ''For you?Wae?'' ''Aniya..it's for Eurah..'' ''Ahhh arasseo..is that all?'' ''Nae..'' ''Ok,i'll update you about it in an hour.'' ''Nae..kamsahamnida..'' Hyunsik sat on his bed staring again at his photo with Eurah. After a while he put his hand on his face..he's getting frustrated,he breathe deeply,stood up & started walking back & forth inside the room. ''Andwae....i can't let it happen...'' He dialed manager jiyong's number again. ''Oh Hyunsikah...I'm just about to book for the tickey,wae?'' ''Ahh manager Yong....can you please book for another one?'' ''huh?'' ''please book another one..'' ''For who...…?'' Hyunsik took a deep breathe then he answered....
