"Scout! Sc-ouu-t" My mums voice called out.

"I'm in the en-suite mum, give me two seconds," I pushed the pregnancy test back into the toothpaste box so that nobody would look twice if they did come across it. After frantically smearing my face in foundation so that the redness wouldn't show through I unlocked the door and greeted my mum with a grin.

"There you are honey, dinner should be ready soon I've just put the spaghetti on" my mum said whilst putting some laundry into my closet and hanging up my uniform.

"Sounds great! Is Jade dropping Caleb or are we picking him up?" Caleb was my little brother he was 4 years old and had spent the whole day with his cousin, Faye, who was the same age as him. They were adorable together and my aunt, Jade, had got pregnant at the same time as my mum. I was not looking foward to telling my mum about my own pregnancy.

"I think Jade is dropping Caleb here and then taking Faye to ballet".

"Oh cool. Well I'm going to shower now and then I'll come make a salad for dinner." I said picking up a towel from the airing cupboard and grabbing my wash bag from the dresser.

"Thanks Scout, I picked up some advocados from the organic shop while I was in town to today so you could throw them in if you wanted."

"Sure." I said.

"Bye sweetie, I'll speak to you later!"

"Ciao!" I called out, but the door had already clicked shut and I heard my mum start to hum as she pulled the vaccum out and began her housework.

I let the warm water pound against my skin and as the steam began to rise I began to hum to myself. I washed my hair and rubbed in my shower gel, it smelt of blueberries and I had a matching exfoliator. Austin loved to inhale my scent as he carried me with my legs wrapped around his waist and my arms wrapped around his neck, I had felt his back muscles shift as he walked and....NO SCOUT. Stop! I thought to myself, you have to forget that you were with Austin and stop reliving the way things were with him. Why would he stay when he finds out about the baby? He won't. So it's best that you break up with him and just don't tell him, at least you won't be disappointed that way.

I shut the water off and stepped out the shower, glancing at the cabinet where the pregnancy test was, I guess I could just have one more peak... I grinned and clutched my stomach being totally weirded out at the thought of another tiny human being inside me.
