It was 11:26PM

"(y/n)? What's wrong?" He asked.
You could feel his eyes stare at you from across the room. Every step he took towards you, caused yet another salty tear drop to fall.

"You want to know what's wrong?! It's you!" you screamed at his face.
You stared right into his eyes, tears falling down one after another. He embraced you into a tight hug, trying to comfort you. You tried to escape from his tight grip. It was useless. No matter how many times you had told him, he never believed you.

"Hoseok.." You words slurred, "please, let's go get help for you."
"(y/n), I'm perfectly fine." He replied smiling, "also, jimin's going to drop by tomorrow."
Your tears started to fall down faster. Jimin passed away a few months ago. Hoseok still acts like he's alive. No, he thinks he's alive. His mental state had started to shatter.

"Hoseok do you trust me? Do you believe me? Do you even know me?" You attacked him with questions. Letting out all of the emotions you kept bottled up.

"(y/n)... Of course I trust you, of course I believe and of course I know you! You're my girlfriend!" He replied, losing his temper.

You started to collapse right in front of him. You knew you should have acted strong, but you couldn't take it away more.

"Hoseok, jimin's dead! I've told you this so many times. Why won't you believe me? You said you trust me, you believe me, you're my boyfriend." you yelled, "It hurts me too, okay? That my brother jimin is dead. What hurts me more is you."

His grip loosened. You fell to the cold ground, crying. Almost choking as you spoke. You looked up and Hoseok was no longer in the room. You panicked. You were aware that Hoseok was losing to himself. He was an unstable adult, too scared to face the cold real world. You ran outside of your apartment, ran down the staircase to find Hoseok. He sitting on the cold cement pavement in the rain. You walked up to him and sat next to him. You hugged him as he shivered.

"I'm sorry Hoseok. I just couldn't watch you in pain any longer." You confessed.

"He's alive, okay? Believe me, he's alive." He answered back with piercing eyes.

He had finally lost it. He was no longer Jung Hoseok. He was a mental adult that needed help urgently. And you, you were no longer his hope. You were his reason to crack.
