          Hoshimi slowly led them through the thick forest. Morning sunlight streamed through the dense tree foliage as they trudged on. There was a muffled thump, and Hoshimi heard Hak turn and kneel.

          "Would you like to rest?" Hak asked Yona. She heard Hak's breath catch lightly, before he helped Yona rest against a tree. Hoshimi turned and walked over next to Yona and sat. She slowly closed her eyes and fell asleep.

                                                                                            * * * * *

                                                                                  Three Years ago...

          Hak sat on the outer railing of a corridor, an apple in his hand. Hoshimi set next to him, her legs dangling over edge, silver kimono brushing the decorative wood. Her front tresses of hair were pulled to the back of her head, and bandages were wrapped around her eyes.

          "You little squirt..."

          Hak looked up from his apple, to see Mundeok coming towards them. "I told you to attend today's Five-General Meeting!" Hoshimi turned her head to his voice. "As long as Master Mundeok attends the meeting, no one else needs to." he retorted. "Besides," he said, closing his eyes. "I don't want to listen to His Chubbiness talk."

          "Idiot!" Mundeok screeched. "Stop calling me 'Master Mundeok'! Call me 'Grandpa' like Hoshimi does!"

          "That's the problem!?" Hak yelled back, a fist comically raised. "Hoshimi and I aren't even blood relatives to you!"

          Hoshimi ducked as they began something of a cat fight of fists, feet and yelling. "Who cares about the ties of blood!? There's nothing compared to the power of love!" Mundeok argued crazily.

          "Hey now."

          A voice spoke. Hoshimi whirled her head around as Hak and Mundeok stopped their comedic fight, some arms and fists still raised and still.

          "The Crimson Dragon Castle'll blow away if General Mundeok and Hak romp around." said King Il from where he stood a couple feet away. Mundeok immediately dropped to his arms and kness, head down. "My apologies King Il!"

          "Ah, no biggy," King Il said, trying to calm the frantic man. Hoshimi hopped off the railing and gave a slight bow in the King's direction, and he acknowledged her with a nod. Hak took a step back, a somewhat ashamed look on his face. Oh crap, I called him His Chubbiness....He thought. The king took a couple steps forward.

          "Long time no see Hak, Hoshimi. I've missed you both since you don't come visit as much as you used to." Hoshimi offered a slight nod and smile. "Commoners like us can't just casually..." Hak started, rubbing the back of his head.

          "Don't worry about such things!" The king replied. "Yona's also lonely without you two around." Hak laughed nervously, sweat beading down his face.

          "That's a lie, Your Chubbiness..." Hak said. Hoshimi slapped herself in the face. "Why do you say such things Hak..." she said through the corner of her mouth. King Il's smile remained.

          "Your Chubbiness?"

          Mundeok suddenly appeared, smacking Hak on the head with a fan continuously. "How dare you call him, 'Your Chubbiness!" Hoshimi dodged, laughing at Hak softly. King Il raised a hand. "You mustn't use violence, Mundeok." The man mentioned once again fell to his knees, apologizing.
