Chapter Two | A Not So Boring Day

I woke up the next morning with the sunlight in my eyes. I rubbed the corner of my eyes to make me fully awake. I went into the bathroom and got ready for everything, wash my face, shower, change into my uniform. Yeah, pretty boring isn't it? The prom is just around the corner, and of course, I'm not planning on going. I bet it would just be boring for me.

I went downstairs waiting for the boring breakfast that would hit me. "Good morning honey!" My mom said in a cheery voice. That was never there before. Whatever, I'll just ignore it. I sat down on the bright coloured chair...? That was never there before. Okay, now I'm getting really concerned.

My mom placed a plate full waffles with strawberries and blueberries. Syrup as well. Wow, what is happening today. I didn't bother to ask, I'll just eat it. I ate the waffles and drank the orange juice.

Walking to school, there were some students just circling me. Rose petals were scattered around me. A banner was in front of me saying 'Prom?'. Oops, maybe this was for a different person. Oh well. A guy with hair swooshed to the side walked from behind the crowd circling around me. He held a bouquet of flowers with a note. He gave me the flowers and I took the note.

"Dear Jamie,

Pick you up at 8?

-Matthew"

Wow. That was unexpected. A guy asked me out to prom. That was not boring. I'm smiling in the outside but I'm screaming and freaking out in the inside. I nodded yes, I mean what could possibly go wrong? I walked inside school and did the things that I would do in any other normal day. I went to my classes, and other things.

When it came to lunch time, it was different. A group of people followed e around, I sat at a table and the group would sit down too. Woah. Okay, yeah. When is this gonna stop? Cos I'm freaking out. I quickly ate my lunch and walked fast to my locker. I took out my books and waited as the bell rang.

I went to my last class and hurried outside. Woah. Okay, so I survived through that. I went back home and just ignored my parents. Maybe this is just a dream, okay so if I go to sleep, tomorrow will be just a normal day.

So I did, I closed my eyes shut and slept.
