"Honestly I really am thankful for last night." I placed joes cup of coffee on the table in front of him.

"No problem, I usually aren't very good in those situations. That's why I didn't say much, I'm sorry." He drank some of his tea and pulled a funny face when it burnt his tongue.

"It was nice just having you there." I admitted, he smiled at me.

"I'll wash this for you and give you it back." I looked down at joes top.

"What did I say? I said you could keep it."

"Joe." "Yes Charleigh."

"We've known eachother two years now." I smiled at all the memories.

"That's an awfully long time." He said.

"Awfully?? Well I'm sorry if that's how you feel." I giggled.

"No I didn't mean it like that, I'm glad that we have stayed friends this long. We will stay close for many many more years." He put his arm around me.

"Promise?" "I promise Charleigh."

"Can I take you out tonight for a meal?" He asked, my heart skipped a beat.

"J-Just us?" I stuttered.

"Well if you wanted to we could invite other people, but I were thinking just us." He scratched the back of his head nervously.

"I would love it to be just us." I admitted.
