I huffed as I pulled the last suit case and certainly the biggest down the stairs. I made my way out to the car and tossed it in the trunk. I went back upstairs to my room so I could get a good last look at my room for the next few months. "Hazel lets go!" My dad called from the bottom of the stairs. "I'm coming.. Just a sec." I slid my back down the door and sat on the ground. I didn't want to leave. I'm used to my parents traveling and being alone but not for an entire summer. This blows. Especially the fact that I have to stay at a stupid camp. "HAZEL!" I jumped up from the ground and swung the door open aggressively. I turned around and half smiled at my bedroom before storming downstairs. "Sorry honey, but you can't be late! We have the camp orientation." My mom said patting my back. I groaned. "You couldn't even give me a minute to myself." I snarled. "Brooke, don't have an attitude. We understa-.." "No! You don't. It's not that big of a problem for you. You just have to drop me off and say your goodbyes. I'm the one who has to go to the camp and adjust. Why couldn't I just stay here? I don't get it." "Honey we would never leave you home alone. There's plenty of trusty camp counselors there. And it wouldn't kill you to socialize." I had so much to say but rather than argue I just rolled my eyes and crossed my arms over my chest. "Go to the car." My dad said as he picked up his luggage. Without a word I walked out the door.

Most of the car ride I had my ear buds in and was jamming out to Ed Sheeran. A few short hours later we pulled into camp fern. I groaned when I saw the huge sign that greets you when you first pull in. "Oh hush." My mom said. "You'll have fun." I gave a sarcastic nod. And popped my other ear bud back in. I was not looking forward to this what so ever.

We were sitting in the auditorium in the huge head cabin. Waiting for the tiny women to begin introducing herself as well as all the counselors, and explain the rules. She walked onto the stage and the clicking of her high heels echoed through the silent room. I looked around. Ew. So. Many. People. I couldn't wait to get the hell out of here. My parents were hanging onto ever word the woman said and every rule she explained. I on the other hand was listening to my ear buds discreetly. I didn't care what they had to say. I didn't even want to be here. I was looking down at my phone when I felt somebody's eyes on me. A few rows over a hot guy was gawking me with his big beautiful brown eyes. I glanced over at him for a few short seconds and then back down on my phone. I looked up and he was still staring. I gave him a sharp "what the hell are you looking at?" Look and he smirked and drew his attention back to the speaker. I slumped down in my chair. This is going to be a long summer
