Yamato and Mei made her room into a memorial.
And 8 years passed by and the memorial got bigger and all the guests kinda got creeped out.
Yamato would slowly die inside for no reason exsept Erikas death.
He would hallucinate his daughters spirit in her room sometimes.
But he felt like he was going crazy, sometimes he would ly in her room and look at her photo missing her but he knew he had to be happy its what Erika would always say, "be happy daddy"
Just the thought would bring tears to his eyes.
But he had to be happy, he had a plan.
