I walked down the hall with Emily, chatting away as per. We didn't really discuss our kisses- And I really wanted to. Keeping it a secret, Me being.. Gay or whatever, Is so frustrating. I'm alot madder than usual, I don't know why.
Somebody turned a corner- Bashing into me. Lucas Gottesman - Of course.
"Watch where you're going Hermie. Where you born with both parts and poor eyes?" I snapped, Crossing my arms. Seeing how angry Em looked at me really hurt.
" I'm s-sorry, It was an acc-i-ident.. My names Lucas not he-"
"I dont give a crap about your name, Dork!" I retorted, Cutting him off.
His cheeks where red and his stuttering made it obvious that the large crowd gathering was embarrassing him.
"Ali! Quit it. I'll see you later." Em said , Clearly annoyed. Watching Emily walk away laughing with Lucas made me mad, Really mad. Thank god, Theres Mona.
Emilys POV
"Lucas, I'm really sorry about her" I said, Smiling sympathetically at him- Looking back to see Mona and Alison clearly talking smack about he and I.
"It's not your fault, Im not part girl by the way.." He seemed pretty desperate to clear his 'hermie' title, It made me think twice about Alison, When she was so .. Cruel.
"I know, Lucas, I know. Alison just likes the drama." I sighed. "Do you maybe wanna hang out at lunch?" I asked him, Lucas is actually a really nice person, I just wish Alison would back off.
"Really? I'd like that." He suddenly had a really happy glow in his cheeks, I'd never seen him smile before.
"Totally, Meet me in the quad at 1?" He nodded as we parted for 4th period.
Alisons POV
"Why do you even hang with that gayser? " Mona asked, Linking our arms.
"Gayser? What the hell is a gayser." I replied, confused.
"Gay loser, Gayser. Emily is like.. Probably the most boring person i've ever met." She said, exaggerating her tone. "And a homosexual! What's popular about that Ali-D?" she said, whispering as if Emily wasn't already out.
"So? Whats wrong with being gay.." I said, I could feel my cheeks turning red.
"Nothing, I geuss. But you know.. Girls like Em aren't popular Ali, Girls like us - We're popular, And when we get our very own prince hotties, We can be the power foursome. Eeek!" Mona squealed, Excitedly.
"Mhm.. You're right." I fakely smiled. "I'll catch you later!" I said to her, kissing her cheek and scuttling into french.
