My first memory is when I was about five years old.  I was outside on my front lawn having fun blowing bubbles.  I felt so glad to be alive then.  I guess things change.  The next memory I can recall was where I was in this big truck.  The kind that transport cargo.  I had handcuffs on with special markings.  There were a lot of people around me.  I watched them carefully so they wouldn't attack me,  but one of them snuck up behind me and shot something into my arm with a needle.  Everything was blurry and then it went black.

Turns out the government had found me and knew what I was capable of.  When I woke up I was hanging upside down and I couldn't feel my legs.  I'm just a kid so what do you think I did?  I screamed and somebody came immediately.  I don't know how, but I could sense everything about him.  I knew his feelings, his life story, even what he was going to do next.  "What do you want?" he said, sounding rude.  "Where am I?" I replied.  " Wait, you're the new kid.  You just came here.".   "Great, but why?", I asked with no clue what I did to get in this situation.  "You were killing people.  You're like a new brand of serial killer and crazy.",  he said casually, like he'd seen it a million times.  "What are you going to do to me?" I asked, trying not to sound scared.  I didn't like how this was going.  "Well for starters, they took tissue from your tail and will probably have some tests done on you."  We heard another scream.  He just shut the door and left.

Tail?  I looked up to see a lapis-colored tail and moved it excited and curious.  Once again somebody came into the highly secured room.  I saw it was a doctor, my doctor, with two big orderlies.  He looked familiar somehow.  "Hello number 46, how are you?  I know you don't know much, but I do look familiar, don't I?  We know about the powers, luck, weakness, everything.  Would you like to say anything?".  I was furious.  I get brought here, drugged and locked in this trap.  I yelled at him, "LET ME OUT OF THIS THING!!!!".  I don't want this to be real, I don't need this to be real.  He just looked at me with this calm face and smirk.  He loved this, he probably had other cases, I was number 46, patient 46.  I needed to move or something.  I knew they weren't just in here to check on me. How would I get out?

One of his body guards came over with a syringe.  Crap, I knew I had to think fast....SWING!!!  It gave me some time but he just grabbed me and took my wrist pressing through into it.  Hang on, hang on I thought, so I did.  The doc, Dr. Mosso was his name, caught on and simply whispered, "Give 46 more, she's fighting the drugs too well."  I  could barely see and kept on fighting and shot after shot it finally worked.  They had won.

I awoke to see a room full of white-coated women and men.  The main doctor, a young women came over to me.  "Hold still.  This might help your case."  She injected a needle into my arm. "This will make your brain forget about what is happening or happened.  You will feel nothing.  Just relax and it'll work."  I'm knew I was not going to relax and I felt myself go into a semi-coma.  "Relax, um, no thanks."  I threw myself at everyone not wanting to go down without a fight.  One of the nurses, big and bulky, grabbed my arms and another person grabbed my legs.  As they strapped me down, I needed to stop them at some point.  Wait, TAIL, TAIL!!!!!!!  I slapped one of the people, not caring who and that gave me just enough time to bite the nurse.  Who ever was grabbing my legs ran over to help her.  With everybody scared and screaming, I raced out of the room.  I looked to my left to see a clear, glass door.  I needed a card to get out and a key.  Using my head, literally I broke through the glass cutting right above my right eyebrow.  I was free!

The building was evidently out in the middle of a desert.  I realized that I could barely run.  My legs were still a little numb.  I looked around and saw a sepia-colored rock cave.  I jogged feeling so happy. Then I remembered something profound as I entered into this compact cave.  I wasn't human or super human.  I was the last of my race from a different planet called Reez.
