Mirror, mirror in my hand,
How long have you been trapped here in my home land,
Oh gem of deepest blue,
Why oh why has this happened to you,
Oh beautiful goddess of the sea,
I asked for your name and you said Lapis Lazuli.

Mirror, mirror from a distant star,
You sent me a message from afar,
All I could see was fear in your eyes,
Of a once happy face who flew off into the starry skies,
You found you way home finally,
But the home you'd found wasn't the home you wanted to see.

Mirror, mirror that plays water's song,
They imprisoned you even though you'd done nothing wrong,
I offered to set you free,
But no, you said, Stay away from me,
I wanted to come back for you,
But sadly I wasn't able to.

Mirror, mirror who I call friend,
I now sit here, waiting to see you again,
Oh how I wish you were here with me,
But no, instead of that, you're chained to the bottom of the sea,
And now, when I think of you, I remember your smile,
And I know I'll keep searching for you, so hang on for a little while.
