"See you at lunch?" I slammed the car door going to my locker with Jessica beside me.

"Always, and when you get on that car. Please remember not to wear glasses, I'm not gonna be their and I don't want you to get hurt." I remind her all the rules of driving since Jessica hasn't got the greatest eye site it occurred when she was younger and but that's not the story.

"Yeah I know, see at lunch babe." She winked as I roll my eyes at her. "You roll your eyes a lot you know, I'm surprise they haven't fallen out yet." I turn around to reveal a tall blonde geek.

"We better still be on for later, I ditched my friend for you fucker."

"Hey language, where in a place of learning new words but not those." He winks, I swear his being a player.

"You learn something new everyday right." I made a clicking noise with my tongue and walked to English. "You have Mrs.Anderson too?"

"Yes Luke, I've sat behinds you for three weeks now." That made the boy silent as we went to class.

"Well know that I know you I'm gonna sit next to you." He spoke over the unbearable silence. "Hmm, that's a new one." I laughed.

"You sit alone all the time?" He asks with a worried tone. "Yeah but how would you notice? Your always looking up."

"Okay class take out your-. Well what do we have here? The two complete opposites sitting next to each other?" Mrs.Anderson points out making us both turn red with embarrassment.

"Um miss, their doing the annual school play together. Romeo and Juliet? Right guys?" A guy who probably never noticed me before asks. We both nod in unison.

"Hmm, you guys auditioned for the school play? Doesn't sound like you-" Luke cuts her off. "Not to be rude miss but isn't this an English class not a drama class? Therefore you have no right to say anything about the school play."

"Well Mr.Hemmings, Romeo and Juliet is part English with the words used in it. Now before you become smart with me check your facts. Anyway let's carry on with the class." I think that just required a third degree burn.

"Thanks." I nudge Luke who was taking notes on his notebook. "No problem." He whispered back.

After the talk about Emily Dickinson and how her younger sister discovered her cache of poems the class was finally over. "Well that was boring." I tuck the strand of hair in the back of my ear.

"I found it interesting." Luke shrugs. "Oh course you do, you actually understand this shit."

"Seriously stop cursing where in school." I shrug until there was a call from behind us. "Hey Luke, wait up."

"So this is the chick who's the total opposite from you." A colourful haired boy comes running. "So I'm now know for that, this chick has a name you know."

"I like you already, but that's not the point. Band practice in today wanna come?" Mister big dick asks.

"Shit, I forgot. Ariana and I were suppose to be going over some lines at my house."

"Who the hell is Ariana? But anyway she can come to practice too then you can run our your lines at my room."

"I thought you said we weren't suppose to curse? And I'm Ariana, I'd love to watch you practice." I nod.

"So it's settled see you later."

After a few more classes later it was lunch, I wait at our normal spot. "Hey, missed me?" Jessica comes over bearing to trays of food.

"I missed you a lot, thanks for the lunch." I took the non-vegetarian tray and began devouring it.

"Yeah your are, do you know how hard it is to take that burger without the thought of cows being slaughtered?" She replies dramatically.

"Stop making me a vegetarian. I would give up meat but pepperoni pizza is my favourite." We have this fight every time she gets me food.

"Oh and by the way I'm going to watch Luke play before we go over lines so I might not even meet you at all."

"Look as long his gonna play you in the process I'm fine with that." She smirks.

"We're not doing it Jess."

"Whatever."
