Chapter One

I walked into the living room where my Mom and Dad were cuddling watching TV. They are still in the honeymoon period even after being with each other for nineteen years.

I smiled at them and sat down in the arm chair.

“Are you looking forward to senior year Sweetie?” My Mom asked.

“Yeah, I suppose.” I said.

“Come on, senior year was the best year of my life.” My mom said grinning up at my dad.

I rolled my eyes, it was gross.

But there was only a nagging feeling inside of me that I wanted to meet someone and be like my parents.

“I'm just nervous.” I said looking down at my hands.

“You know Honey, he’s not going to be there.” My dad said.

I nodded and tried to change the subject.

“So where are we going for Lucy’s birthday?” I asked.

We were going out for my cousin’s birthday. I was excited I hadn’t seen all of my family together in a while.

“Just to Vinnie’s.” I nodded, it was the local Italian restaurant, it fit because my Mom was half Italian.

“Ok I'm going to bed , I don't want to be up late.” I smiled and hugged them good night.

Once I was ready for bed, I laid down and started thinking about this year.

I just really hope that it went well, and nothing bad will happen.

I sighed knowing nothing in my life goes smoothly.

I ran down the stairs knowing I was late for my first day of senior year.

“Good morning Honey, Eli has already left, and he’s given Xavier a lift.” My Mom said whilst cooking breakfast for my little brother Max.

She turned to me and smiled kindly.

“You look pretty Honey.” She said gazing at my outfit.

I wore a yellow high neck dress which stopped just below mid thigh. With studded combat boots and a leather biker jacket and I only had eyeliner and mascara on.

“Thanks Mom.” I said, grabbing an apple and hugged her goodbye.

I ran to my blue audiR8, I loved my car, my family is insanely rich, not that my complaining.

I turned up at school twenty minutes later and jumped out just as the first bell rang.

Shit, I was late and I still hadn’t got my schedule.

Once I had been to the office and been scolded by the secretary, I ran to homeroom in which I was ten minutes late too.

I burst through the door and every single pair of eyes in the room turned to me.

I ignored them and went to find a seat.

“Can I help you?” a deep, husky voice asked.

I stopped and turned towards the voice with a frown.

Even though it was the hardest thing ever, I managed to keep my expression neutral as I looked at the being in front of me.

He was tall, about 6’5 I’d say, I trailed my eyes up and looked at his torso trying not to drool, his shirt was light blue and it was tight enough just to see the outline of his hard, muscular body. I trailed all the way past his broad shoulders and to his face, his dark brown hair which was spiked up in different directions; I guess he ran his hands through it a lot. I gazed at his full pink lips that looked so kissable... I finally looked into his piercing hazel eyes.
