"Opening Kaleb Astron's file." the screen said. "Go ahead... just load." I said, bored. "System File Assessed" It said after a while as it opened up into a picture of my father's face. "Dad! I missed you..." I said in surprise. I haven't seen since he did something that the System read as a Insurrection and placed under Xion's instructions. "Xion." I thought to myself remembering angrily of what he did to my dad. My own father...

"Gwenyth Astron. You must be old enough aren't you? Hm... I would suppose about 17 or 18." He said calmly on the screen in front of me. I noticed it was a video snap-back from a long time ago and sighed. I missed him. He disappeared one day, I was ten, i think, when he left for work. But then he said he couldn't go home.

"I suppose. If..." His deep voice still hung around in my head, making me still remember him as a kid. He continued, "Gwen. Gwenyth. Or whatever you are called. Its actually no time to talk. Just to act. The system is makes everything perfect, is the future." he looks around, caution in his gray, dull eyes. "No time. I have to tell you now. Life is just a game. All of the virtual things. You should know already. But of course, all things come to an end. A crash. Like a freeze..." The video flickers out as shouting in the background come in. I know why he gave it to me quickly. I now know why there was the men there. In suits. The gray suits. That's not normal.

I scroll through the screen of the panel with my finger, just seeing pictures of me when I was a kid. I thought there would be more than this. I need to know why. More information would be helpful.

"Let's go sweetheart! We have to pick out an outfit for your Test!" my mother calls out from another room. I groan. A dress? She knows I don't like dresses. But then again she's not actually my mother. I just call her that. She's just an aunt. I don't know my actual mom, and I think I never will.

I hurry down the stairs, making a ponytail as i go. Of course someday i will trip on the stairs, seeing how clumsy I usually am. "Coming Mom!" I yell out so she wont have to say anything else. Grabbing my jacket, I ran outside to meet her on the hovercraft. Instead of cars, someone built this. It was a good time actually. I hated driving around. I was old enough too. Seventeen. But I guess now she wanted to help me on this. Horrible.

I looked at my datapod on my wrist, being bored out of my mind.

There was light on the side of my wrist. It was a dim yellow, but it was blinking fast. I had no idea what it meant. "Hey-" I began, but my "mom" already knew. She grabbed my hand and rushed away from the hovercraft into the bushes closest to the forest. She wrote down in the dirt what it meant. The System was about to think I was apart of an Insurrection now and was to investigate the house, and possibly us. Dad... he warned me it might happened if I loaded if I loaded the flash drive. I understood, but obviously my aunt didn't. "What happened for this to become like this?!?" she told me. I couln't answer. It was her brother I would be tell her about.

"Gwenyth Astron. Answer me." she look straight at me as I watched the men come back out, shaking their heads in disbelief. I knew what they were looking for. The flash drive. I looked in the palm of my hand. Resting there from the hard grip, the sleek, black device was laying there, unattended to in the past 20 minutes. "I don't know...!" I tried to sound as believing as possible. I looked back at her. She had the blue eyes I envied for. I had gray eyes. Everyone thought that was special, having the gray eyes. But no, I wished they had some speck of color in them.

"Did you hear me, or are you deaf?" she retorted. She had said something as I was thinking about eyes...

"No Ma'am." I answered back.

"I said, I'll be going to find your dress, with or without you. Go hang out with Larry, Lucian, whatever his name is." she told me, as if nothing ever happened. I smiled. She always forgot Luke's name. "Yeah, I'll send him a PM." I answered as she started walking off. (PM means Private Message to anyone who doesn't know)

I sent him the message. "Meet me in the abandoned RV okay?" I sent as I walked over there. I wanted to tell him so badly. I wanted him to come along. I can't keep this secret about my dad by myself. I trusted Luke. The abandoned RV was the only place closest to the System where they couldn't find out about the conversation. We tried it out before. Private messages were still sent to the Headquarter's in The System's data to find out any Insurrections faster. In every technology possible. That's how they found out about the flash drive loaded into the computer panel. But this would be better. We were going to talk about this in a hidden, incognito mode.
