honesty

our parents have always told us not to lie...

yet we do it anyway..

they say they're disappointed...when we do..

yet we do it anyway...

don't even try to deny it...don't you dare..

because we have all done it...at one time in our life...

we know it's bad...we do..

yet we still do it...why?

I honestly don't know...

we can't help it...well, we can but...

it's complicated

we don't want to lie...but we do

we know not to...but we do

we tell ourselfs not to...but we do...

I'd love to say that we're all truthful beings...but I can't...

because it's not true

I don't think it ever will be...
