Q: Who was he?
A: A friend.
Q: When did I meet him?
A: June 10, 2015. The last few weeks of seventh grade.
Q: Did/does he feel the same way?
A: Well, yeah! I mean, look at me.
Q: Did we ever date?
A: It's complicated.
Q: What is his name?
A: Elliott Cassidy
Q: What is my name?
A: Maya Martinez
Q: Do I feel as if this is just a fairy tale?
A: Of course, I do. It's totally unreal!
Q: What song would I dedicate to this situation?
A: True Love by Dove Cameron.
Q: Why on Earth would I like him?
A: For one thing, he's a super nice guy, we have tons in common, and I am totally convinced that he feels the same way.
Q: Do I still like him?
A: Of course, I do. I mean, he's cute and smart and totally hot!
Q: Am I totally in love?
A: Of course not! I'm only 13!
Q: Are we the same age?
A: Yes.
Q: Am I thinking about him right now?
A: Um, obviously, considering that I'm writing about him.
Q: Do we have any mutual friends?
A: Yeah! Most of the friends I made this summer plus my friend, Lana Kandce.
Q: Do I think this is just a phase?
A: Yep.
Q: Do I regret not telling him how I feel?
A: Nope. Mainly because I'm not allowed to date, but also because I've been focusing more on my career now that I don't see him every weekday. One of the main reasons why it wouldn't have worked out even if I were allowed to date is that we live in different cities, but the same state.
Q: Am I putting way too much thought into one entry?
A: Obviously! He's just one guy that I met over the summer and can't stop thinking about, I feel like I'm going crazy.
