Chapter 1

I look at myself in the mirror checking my purple dress for any imperfections and I relax when I don’t find any. This is the night I have been waiting my whole life for I wish mum was around to see it she and my dad died in a car accident when I was ten. Tonight is going to be absolutely perfect. First me and Nick (my date) will go to the restaurant and have a nice meal, then will go to the school have photo’s taken and then dance together until the spot lights. I have already told Nick there would be no hotel room after wards and I told him seeing as this is my first real date we should take things slow but that’s not the truth I have always wanted to save my innocence for my husband and have that one special moment with the man I love.

After tonight I will be packing bags and getting ready to go to university I’m going to study business and Eric isn’t one bit happy that I’m leaving him to do so.

“Jazz, Nick is here!” Eric my older brother shouts he’s 23 and a pain he’s probably giving Nick the talk right now.

“Coming” I check myself once more in the mirror and grab my purse then head down the stairs. I’m amazed to find Nick and Eric laughing when I walk into the living room.

Nick has always been the natural red head but no one would dare make fun of his hair because he is incredibly strong. He’s on the football and wrestling team and not a guy you want to mess with.

“You look beautiful Jasmine” Nick says and my brother glares at him but his gaze softens when his eyes land on me.

“You look like a princess little sis”

“Thanks, so are we ready to go?”

“Ready when you are”

“Well let’s go”

He comes over and takes my arm and opens the front door for me. I kiss Eric goodbye and then head out the door with Nick to his silver car.

He opens the door and I climb in making sure that all my dress is in before he shuts the door. Nick shuts the door and then climbs in the driver’s seat. I put my seat belt in as he starts the car.

“So where are we going?”

“That’s a surprise”

“I like surprises”

I think I hear him mumble under his breath “I don’t think you’ll like this one” but I quickly dismiss it.

He starts driving and there is nothing but an awkward silence between us. I mean why ask me out if he is just going to ignore me the whole night he hasn’t looked at me or spoken to me ever since we pulled out of my street.

“So how’s the football going?” he doesn’t answer me and I feel so stupid was it something I said or did?

Before I know what’s happening he has stopped the car.

“Get out”

“Ha ha very funny Nick”

“Get out of the car”   

“No what are you doing?”

“I said get out of the car!”

I freeze after hearing him shout at me. He reaches over opening the door and pushes me out into the freezing cold night. He shuts the door before I can even get me things and speeds off.

I look around my surroundings and I don’t have a clue where I am. All I can see is rundown buildings and littered streets. I am stranded with no phone and no money which means I have no way of getting home or getting in touch with Eric. I can’t believe Nick did that to me I mean he knew that I had never been on a date before everyone knows it and my brother made sure of it.

I live by his rules which are.............

No boys

No sex

No drugs

No drink

No going out during a school night

No staying out past eight (and the only exception to this rule was my prom which will now never happen)

Just when I think things can’t get any worse it starts raining.

“Oh come on!”

I run off the road and over to the edge of the curb and sit down there is nothing I can do I have no idea where I am and I have no way of getting home unless a miracle happens.

I sit for ten minutes in the pouring rain when I see head lights at first I think maybe it’s Nick coming back for me but when I see the black car coming down the road shivers run down my back.

The car comes closer to me until its right beside me. The driver rolls down the window and a man sits behind the wheel. I can’t really see him but I know it’s a man.

“Hey there do you need a lift?”

“No thanks”

“So you’re just going to sit in the rain?”

“I don’t need a ride”

“Come one you’re soaking wet let me bring you home”

“No”

The man gets out of the car and I sit there frozen from the icy rain and wind I can’t run and if he wants me I’m just a sitting duck at the minute. I want to run but my body doesn’t respond it stays frozen until the man comes over to me and put his hand over my mouth.

“Help!”

“Be quiet everything is going to be ok”

I scream and he picks me up just like a baby into his arms I’m no match for this guy he is far stronger than me and my body is so cold.

 He opens his car door and puts me in then he takes a black rag out of his pocket and puts it over my mouth.

“Good girl”

He tightens his grip on my face pressing me deeper into the cloth so I have no choice but to breathe the drug in. I can feel myself slipping away into nothing and then it is completely dark.

Damon’s POV

I saw her standing there gorgeous brown hair and brown eyes and she is all mine. I stopped the car trying to get her in, I knew it would be a task but I ended up with plan B- drugging her.

Jasmine is just as beautiful as I remember and her brother described her and she is all mine. Every little piece of her is mine.

Jasmine doesn’t know about Eric and his secret life and she defiantly didn’t know that he sold her to me.

I remember the first time I met her I was at her 14th birthday I would have been sixteen back then, Jasmine was breath takenigly beautiful. She took my breath away, her sparkly brown eyes, her curly brown hair and her delicate little face. Every part of her was perfect.

I would protect my beautiful little Jasmine. She is mine now and nothing’s going to change that not when I have what I really want?
