Raphael x Reader - A New Day

Chapter 3

(//AU// Before I let you read this chapter, I would recommend that you put some punk/rock, or some music with a bit go in it, while you read it. Do you get what I'm saying? maybe? no? Well i listened to fall out boy, "Phoenix" and "My Demons" by Starset, while i wrote this. So if you want to feel how i felt while writing this, I'll recommend that. But you can also ignore that completly and listen to whatever you want to! :D Well, i am not going to distract you anymore! Hope you like the Chapter!)

*Pant* *Pant* *Pant* *Pant*

While still being unsure about if these creaters were humans or not, I continued following them. I ran as fast as I could, but it soon showed to be rather difficult. Because even though I only had followed them a block down the street, I had already lost complet track of them. What on earth were they?

Lost in my own thoughts and confusion, I didn't see where I was going, and bumped into a boy, knocking him down. "I'm so sorry! I didn't see where I was going. Are you alright?" But this was not just another ordinary boy I had knocked to the ground. It was Casey Jones.

"Argh! Yeah, I'm alright. Hey! I know you!" Jones said.

I shouldn't be surprised that he couldn't remember my name, but still.

"Yeah, (y/n). You let me borrow your biology book, today."

"Oh yeah! I remember!"

'Really? You just remembered that? Omg...'

"What are you doing, Casey! We are suppose to be quiet!" Around the corner, April O'neil came running towards us. As she soon saw me there with Jones, she paralysed. "Ehm.. Who is this?" she asked Jones.

Even though I was the one knocking the both of us to the ground, Jones was with a quick move back on his feet first, offering a hand to help me up. "Thanks." I said with an half smile. I still wasn't sure of what to think about Jones.

"This is (y/n). She is in my biology class." Jones explained April.

"Okay.. why is she here?" April whispering the last part to Jones. "We can't have her running and destroy our mission. And what is she sees the guys!?"

She spoke just loud enough for me to hear her.

"Hey! I didn't bring her here! She just came out of nowhere!" Jones whispered back.

"You know i can hear you right?" I informed them. They both went silent and looked at me. But just as April was about to say something, a big explosion came from the corner she only seconds came from. Smoke and fire filled the streets, making it hard to see anything. The explosion was soon followed up by loud noises. Noises like fighting, screaming and metal hitting metal. It sounded like a war just boke out. 

"What the hell i going on!?" I scream as loud as i could, to outshout all the noise.

"We need to get her out of here! NOW!!" April shouted. Jones nodded and started to pull me away from the situation.

"Wait! What are you doing!? What about April!? We can't just leave her there!"

"April can take care of herself! Believe me!"

We ran for a short while, until we couldn't see the fire anymore.

As we stood there, trying to catch our breaths again, the whole episode ran through my head. It all had happend so fast, and the questions began piling up. What just happened? Was it the Purple Dragons? What were Jones and April doing there? And where was Helen? I got a headace. the whole episode was just too much. This whole day have just been too much.

"*pant* *pant* A-are you okay (y/n)?" Jones, still trying to breath normally, looked at me with somewhat consern and arrogant look.

"What are you not telling me, Jones?" I asked. I wanted some answers to what I just had witnessed, and I knew Jones knew something.

He looked like a deer caught by headlights. "What do you mean?"

'Oh, hell no! He better not think he can talk himself out of this!' I though to myself.

"You know very well what I mean, Casey Jones! I'm talking about this whole situation! What were you and April doing there, and what was that explosion?" As i said that, I took a step closer to Jones, and pointed my finger at him.

"He-He" He laughed nervously. "I really don't know what you are referring at?"

I stared directly at his eyes, with a surspisious look, but he avoided eyecontact. "Well.. If you are not going to tell me anything, I might as well ask April." Jones looked at me. "Not a chance baby! You ain't going back there. It is going to be over my dead body!". So I did the only thing I could do at given time. Jep, I kicked Casey Jones in the nuts. Look, I'm not proud of my actions, but something had to be done, and it is not like he gave me any other options. And with that I took the opportunity and ran back towards the fire, leaving Jones, who at that point was pinned, yet again, to the ground, whining in pain.

"N-No! Wa-it! (y/n)! It-it is too dangerous out there! C-Come back!!" Jones yelled in pain. 

But I was already too far away to hear it. Not that it would make any difference. I soon saw the light of the fire yet again. I gave it everything that i got left, and within few minuts I stood the same place i did just a bit earlier. The sceneri where the same as when i left. Smoke, fire and the noices where left unchanged. 

"APRIL!!" I yelled out, but without luck. "APRIL!?" I yelled again. Terrible thoughts poped up in my head. What if something had happened to April, and she now was unconscious, or worse... 

The sound of sirens could be heard in the distance. At that moment the fear took controle of my numb body. I ran into the smoke, desperately trying to find April, but voices kept distracting me. 

"Get them!" "You idiots! Are you even trying!?" "Quick! Before they get away!" 

I tried to keep a low profile, so they would notice me, but with the fear trembling in my whole body, it definitely wasn't easy. I kept searching for April, but the smoke made it almost impossible. "April! Answer me, God damnit!" I had no idea where I was going, so I had to feel my way. Let us just say, it didn't help on the growing fear in my body.

"Mickey, look out!" "Don't worry Raph! I'm a big boy now! I can take care of myself." "You goofball! This isn't time for jokes!"

Without me knowing, the voices had become a lot louder. 

"What are you waiting for? An invitation? Attack!"

Fear took over again, and I took cover behind a car. 'What am I doing? Risking my own life for a girl I don't even know! What is wrong with me? Oh! I hope she is okay!'

"Guys! We need to hurry up! The police is comming!" A female shouted. 'Wait, was that.. April!?'

//AU// I know.. total cliffhanger. I just didn't know when was the right time to end this chapter... And for that I'm sorry... okay, maybe not that sorry. I do need you to keep coming back to read more! xD So tell me if you like it, hate it, want you think is gonna happen!
