The family had arrived for the barbecue that Gail had prepared prior in advance. The presents were outside on the patio and everyone was enjoying themselves. Teddy was playing with Auntie Kate and Pheobe was in the arms of her Uncle Elliott. Christian was over the barbecue whilst I was bringing out stuff from the kitchen to cook. Taylor and Sawyer were enjoying themselves on their day off. Carrick was arriving later, there was something to conclude at his office. Ethan had joined in the event and so had Carla, Ray and Bob. It was a good morning and proving to be a good afternoon. The sky had cleared up and it was sun shining and the clouds were in shapes, I could see a bear, a star and then someone clouded my vision. I looked straight into their eyes and melted, his arms wrapped around my waist and he pulled me into his chest, I heaved a sigh of relief.

"Hey." I looked up at him." How is the birthday boy doing?"

"Coping but I really want to open my present." His hand travelled up my top at the back.

"Later, not now Christian..."

"But..." I kissed his now pouting lips, pulled away, and turned to the side. Mom was playing with Teddy making him laugh by tickling him. Everyone was happy.

"You know it's not nice making the birthday boy wait for his present. It's in the contract..."

"If I remember correctly Christian, I never signed the contract and to be honest I think having me is enough. Maybe if you are lucky you get the rest of the package later tonight...if you're a good boy." He tucked a stray hair behind my ear and kissed my cheek.

"You know...maybe I could just get my present in the meadow, we won't have to wait, and you won't be dripping for me." He slipped his finger on the outside of my dress and stroked my clit, very slowly. My mouth opened and a groan came out, my head rested on Christian's shoulder and I looked over. Teddy was lay on the grass playing with Mia's hair, braiding it. Grace was near Carrick, he was flipping burgers talking to my dad and my mom. Elliot was drinking his beer, Kate was walking closer to us, whilst Christian was still stroking me, making me hot, wet and bothered. Kate!! I moved myself from Christians grasp and turned around so my back was on his front.

"Oh my god, Ana! You should have just been over there with your mom, she was telling me all these stories about your dad and Josè, apparently they went bike riding and..." Kate was rambling, I wasn't really listening until Christian moved from behind me and had walked off, he walked inside the house. I stared after him and then looked over to Teddy.

"Yeah, listen Kate. I have been meaning to talk to you all day but right now I want to spend some time with my son, he has been preoccupied with everyone else all day."

"I understand Ana. I have to go see if Elliott is okay looking after Ava for me, whilst I go do some errands." I halted from walking away and backtracked back to Kate.

"Wait...you're leaving?"

"I have to. I have to go and get some clothes for Elliott for our family vacation."

"Vacation?"

"Yeah. Wait..Christian didn't tell you? It was his idea..."Her brain finally caught onto what she was saying."I have a feeling I shouldn't have told you."

"It's okay Kate. I will keep my mouth shut until Christian tells me."

"Thank you. I honestly don't know how you can put up with all of this. All the secrets, like the vacation and Elena, and his mother. If Elliott did that I would have killed him by now" My head was about to explode, how did Kate know about all this, but I didn't?

"What do yo mean with Elena and his mother? Grace?"

"No, his birth mother. He has been trying to find her for weeks now, I think. Elliott has been helping him. And for Elena, he went with her for a meal to cut all ties with her."

"Christian has been trying to find his mother?! Why didn't he tell me?"

"Maybe he didn't want to tell you, you have been stressing out lately about everything lately, especially the party with Grace and Mia you have been planning for weeks."

"Yeah maybe..."My thoughts went somewhere else, as I looked towards the house."Listen Kate. Can you look after Teddy and Phoebe, whilst I deal with an important issue?"

"Sure Ana." I walked towards the house and went through the doors, up to Christians study. As I wandered through the house I noticed Sawyer was talking discreetly to Carrick. Taylor was nowhere in sight. I ran up to the door and knocked. I entered without any beckoning coming out from Christians mouth. 

"Christian, I need to speak with you." He was sat at his desk, Taylor sat opposite him. Taylor got up from his place and walked to the door and shut it, practically knowing that I was going to shout. 

"Yes Ana." 

"You need to tell me, what the hell is going on?!"
