Chapter 1
Today was the day I finally get to move into my own flat, I have been waiting for this day for months and it's finally here. I look around my childhood bedroom and admire the walls which have now been completely cleared of photos and drawings from over the last 18 years of my life. I'm going to miss this place when I move out but I'm really exited and I can't wait to own my own place.
"Blue hurry up we need to go." My mum shouts from downstairs.
Blue is not my real name by the way it's Bluebell but everyone calls me Blue for two reasons, one it's short for Bluebell and two I absolutely love the colour blue.
I stand up from the box I was sat on and carry it down the stairs. She holds the front door open for me and I carry the last remaining box into the minivan. I don't get the keys until this afternoon so my mum, my brother and I are going to go shopping for some things for my flat.
My brother is called Ash, yes my mum named my brother and I after nature, and he is 4 years younger than me so I don't really think he will enjoy the shopping trip but our mum didn't want him to be at home alone for some reason so he has to come.
My mum and I sit in the front of the van to wait for my brother, after a couple of minutes he comes out of the house, slides open the door then sits in the back of the van surrounded by boxes. Mum puts the key in the ignition and we set off to the shopping village. I love the shopping village because there are so many antique shops with really nice furniture.
We have listen to crappy hip-hop songs my brother likes as we drive down the motorway as it's the only way we could get him to stop complaining. Luckily we should be at the shopping village soon so I won't have to listen to the music for too long.

"Ash please stop complaining." My mum says for like the hundredth time.
We are in the last shop and I couldn't tell you how many times Ash has complained. I haven't really found many things I like but as we walk down an aisle I spot an amazing gold antique mirror at the end, I leave my mum and brother to walk up towards it.
My mum notices I have left her side and comes up to me, leaving Ash dawdling behind her.
"Ooo that's nice." She says as she comes to stand next to me.
"Yeah it is." I say.
We take the mirror to the till to pay for it then take it back to the minivan. We lay it on top of some boxes then get back in the van.
"You know I really don't enjoy being surrounded by cushions and girly stuff." Ash moans.
"Will you please stop complaining." My mum and I say in unison.
"Ugh fine." He says.
We drive back home because my mum decided to take Ash back even though she didn't really want to. He slides open the door and walks back to the house. I needed to come back home anyway because I need to drive my own car to the flat. I only have a blue (obviously) Ford Focus from 2005 but at least it's a car and I can go places.
"Bye Ash." I shout as I get into my car.
He doesn't say anything but I suspect he heard me.
My mum sets off in the van and I follow behind her. I play Taylor Swifts new album as I drive towards town because that is where my new flat is. It is about 12:30 when we arrive and the landlord isn't supposed to be giving me the keys until 1 o'clock so we decide to go to and get lunch at a café.

"Mum can you help me lift this box?" I say as I try to lift a rather heavy box from the van.
