Life was thought to be easy but you know now

There are always blizzards before sunshine.

For what is within your grasp suddenly vanishes, leaving you searching, screaming.

With sorrow and despair, you learn that the world is not how you thought.

Brief seconds spent in pain,

But now the mist has cleared and the fog evaporated.

Beams of the sun’s rays spill upon your frame

enveloping you in warmth and bliss.

Fading memories become vibrant and strong.

Each day becoming blessing rather than burden,

Each moment becoming a gift.

Treasuring what you have, not what you don’t

Life is not simple as I recall,

You must breath, enjoy.

Do not dwell in the past but contemplate your future,

And savor the journey.

For it is easy to turn back, remember the suffering.

And while you decide between heaven or hell, on Earth you only bleed.
