By 12:30am Mya’s party reached its height. There were a large number of people in and around the house. Loud rap music blared from the speakers inside. The building was hot and humid because of the overwhelming number of young adults.

Diamond and her friends were enjoying them selves despite the presence of the Insane Murda Mafia. A few fights broke out, but nothing gang related. The Black Joka’s occupied the right of the house, while the Murda Mafia stuck to the left. Because there was only a few feet between to the two rivals, the tension in the area extremely high.

Diamond was in the mix of the crowd holding a bottle of E&J in her right hand. Hyper and drunk she shook her bottle in the air while pressing her body against Bonez. The two danced on each other wildly as they enjoyed the loud music. However, Trip and the other Black Joka’s were stuck on the wall.

On the other side of the house stood the Insane Murda Mafia. Six strong, the gang kept eye contact with the Black Joka’s. Directly in the middle of the set stood Khia. At age seventeen, Khia’s 5’4”, slim, light skinned, and has black eyes. Her face was mean, and every time she talks her gold caps shine. Khia wore a burgundy jacket, matching bandana around her head, and tight jeans. Beside her stood Double-D and Taz. Like usual, they were dressed similar, both wearing Burgundy and black.

Devin Denis, or Double-D, was a member of the Insane Murda Mafia. He has thick eyebrows with cut hair and narrow black eyes. He’s eighteen years old, dark skinned, and stands at 6 feet with a strong build. His partner Travis aka Taz, also gang banged. Taz is 16 years old, 5’8”, and has dark brown skin. Even though Taz was boney, he was as strong as an ox. He has Trill Murda tattooed on the right side of his neck and both of his arms where tattooed down to the fingernails. Taz leaned against the wall with the meanest scowl on his face. Hate beamed in his eyes as he stared down the Black Joka gang.

By 1:00am the music playing was straight gangster rap, which fueled violence. The crowd got aggressive jumping around in a large pack. The partygoers began to get rowdier with every passing song. The vibe of the room completely changed as the drunken Teenagers shoved and bumped into each other.

Normally Diamond would be in the center of this, but instead she was on the sidelines. Leaning on her boyfriend the two watched the teens enjoy themselves. Trip and the other Black Joka’s were right beside them, still watching their rivals.

“Aye, were Axe and Tiny?” Diamond wondered. Bonez didn’t hear her at first so she repeated herself. “Bonez, where Axe and Tiny at?”

“I aint know,” he shrugged.

“Me either. I aint seen em in a minute,” Diamond said. “Wonder where they at?”

Meanwhile, Justine and Axe were outside chilling by the side of the house. Axe stood in front of Justine talking a mile a minute. His friend was sitting on the grass enjoying his comical act.

“I’m trynna tell you Tiny, I aint never seen a bitch with a ass that flat!” Axe exclaimed. “I said ‘Got damn’… I thought I was dancin’ with a broom stick,” Justine broke into laughter. Axe loved to be the center of attention. The more Justine would laugh the longer he would go on. “Someone needa donate her a ass cheek man, cause that bitch aint got nohin but leg.”

“Axe you stupid,” Justine chuckled. “Aye, I’m bout to go get me some more drank.”

“Ight, imma be right here,” Axe replied. Justine got up and headed to the house. Before she could enter the building, Double-D and Taz stepped to her.

“What up Tiny?” Double-D asked, Justine cut her eyes. A long time ago, Justine and Double-D use to date. Their relationship went down quickly when she saw his true colors. He was the last person she wanted to talk to. “I feel like you been avoidin' me all night.”

“I have,” Justine replied.

“Don’t be like that. All I want is a lil dance,” He persuaded.

“I’m not dancin’ with you!” she snapped.

“Why not?” He asked. Justine shook her head.

“Get out of my face D, I don't wanna talk to you.” Justine tried to walk off, but Double-D gripped her arm.

“Hol’ up?” He growled. “I aint done talkin’.”

“Well I am,” Justine responded. “Now let go.”

“I said I aint done talkin',” Double-D retorted, he tightened his grip on Justine.

“Let go of my arm D!” She exclaimed.

“Aye hol up cuz,” Axe interrupted, coming out of nowhere. “Man what the fuck goin’ on here?” Double-D released Justine as Axe got closer. Taz pulled his pants up, ready get into an altercation. “Aye we got a problem or somethin’?”

“Naw… but we can make one.” Double-D taunted. When Axe heard this he stepped to Double-D, but Justine got between the them. She grabbed hold of Axe and slowly pushed him back.

“Axe chill.” Justine pleaded. She moved him further away from the Murda Maifa.

“Bruh, don’t ever try me like that.” Axe warned. Double-D grinned as he watched the two walk away. Axe was still facing the gang when Justine took him inside.

“Axe chill out.” She said. “The last thing we need is those two lookin’ for us.”

“What the fuck they gon’ do?” He questioned. Justine stared at him with softened eyes.

“Axe… you know what they can do.” She replied. Axe shook his head in disgust. Justine was right, he knew exactly what they could do, and it wasn’t good. When Justine and Axe got into the house they ran into Diamond.

“I been lookin’ for ya’ll!” Diamond said. She noticed that Axe seemed a little angry. “What the hell wrong with you?”

“Man that punk ass nigga D man.” Axe retorted. “I caught that nigga puttin’ his hands on Tiny.” Diamond’s eyes flew open.

“What?” She exclaimed. “Where the fuck that nigga at?”

“It aint no big deal, he aint hit me or nothin’,” Justine said. “We don’t need to make this no big thing.” She looked from Diamond to Axe. The two of them were thinking the exact opposite of what she just said.

“What ever… If you wanna let it slide then it is what it is.” Diamond sighed. Justine seemed relieved, and went to go fix herself another drink. Diamond glanced at the Insane Murda Mafia across the room. “Like I said. If she wanna let it slide then she can, but I don’t play that…”
