Their eyes burned my skin.
Heat stole my every breath.
I drowned in my thoughts.
biting my tongue and living in darkness.
This was never the life I envisioned for myself.
So I chose to be happy and destroyed my invisibility cloak.
Faced my fears one by one.
Their eyes started meeting my smiles.
Breathing felt like child's play.
My thoughts grew into dreams.
And i found sunlight even in the shadows.
I have a long way to go, but for now I know I am free.
