Chapter 1: I'm not a rebel. I'm Ava.

" Ava Willson, did you know you're failing math? Mr.Hendricks said you aren't showing up to class. That is strike 2 young lady." My mother yelled while the rest of my family awkwardly sat and ate dinner. My mother glared at my father signaling him to agree with her. " She's right Ava. Your rebellious stage has got to end at some point," he said but way less tense then my mom. I simply rolled my eyes and went upstairs. I could hear my mom hollering at me but I toned her out. I cracked open my window and jumped onto my roof.
" I heard your folks, are they on your case again?" Jeremy asked me. Jeremy was my neighbor and a close friend of mine. He handed me a joint but I passed. Sure I'm a "rebel" but that shit kills you, so how about no.
" Yeah, they're bïtching because I am failing math. But who actually needs math," I say chuckling to myself. Jeremy smirked and took the joint out of his mouth and let out a puff.
" Honestly jer, you would be way hotter if you didn't do all that shït." I say looking into his hazel green eyes.
He smirked and softly glided his lips against mine. I push his shoulder and snicker. " I'm hot either way babe," he said with his cocky attitude. I scoffed and got up. " What too much?" he said smiling at me. " Nah I just have to shower, got some things to do tomorrow." I say glancing back at him. " Oh helping out at the childeren's center and babysitting the precious jewls of nature," he teased.
I laugh and climb into my window locking it up.
