Sorry my chapter is late! I have been super busy, and wattpad hasn't been working for about a week.----
I dragged myself out of the room. Rachel doesn't want to hunt, Evan is gone, and now I have to go talk to a demon?! Awesome... I grabbed the blade off of the table, and slowly made my way to where the demon was seated.
She smirked as I walked in. "Well, well, well... Look who it is!" I rolled my eyes, "I only came to talk to you. I have three questions, then I am leaving, understand?" I spat. Her smirk grew, but she still reluctantly nodded. "Good. Okay, question number one. Why did you save Rachel?" I asked.
She looked down. I grew more impatient by the second, tapping my foot underneath the table. "Well... She needed help, and I was there to save her." She explained. I scoffed. "You expect me to believe that? I mean, come on. You are a demon."
"I remember what it's like to be a human. I remember what emotions feel like, and I remember guilt. I despise demons, angels, and anything in between. And if you think I'm gonna let one of the twin prophets just get themselves killed-" She froze. "Wait... Twin prophets? What's that?" I asked, intrigued now. "No no no... I have said too much...."
I grabbed the blade and stood up. "Tell me." I commanded. She shook her head, pure terror in her eyes. I stepped closer, and smiled. "You are gonna tell me, or I'm gonna cut you to pieces." I spat, holding the blade to her neck.
"Fine! Just back up with that thing, will you?" I reluctantly agreed, and lowered the blade. "Now talk."
She nodded. "Okay... Well, you and Rachel... You guys are the twin prophets. Two sisters born into the hunting destiny, each with angel and demon blood running through their veins. Ever wondered how you were so good? Basically, when it's time,of course, the Twin Prophets are forced with a task. Kill all of the archangels, and all of the knights of hell. If they do that, they.... Basically can rule the world..." She whispered the last part. My mouth was wide open, and I had to remind myself to actually breath. "I have to tell Rachel." Before she could say anything else, I was out the door.
"But what about the other questions?!"
