Brantley's POV: by the magnificent SPaige0615 (and the end of the tale.)

Jessa grinned at me from my chair, rocking gently. The host got all excited. "Jessa, I have to say, you look doll-sized in that chair. Why does it look so big?" She asked. Jessa snorted. "Because that big ol thing standing over there has to fit in it. Brantley ordered it special." She explained. I walked over and scooped her out of my chair, sitting down and setting her in my lap. We finished up the interview and everyone left. Jessa and I walked out onto the back porch and continued on through the yard to the tree line. When we got to the tree where we first had our serious talk about getting together I stopped. I looked at her and grinned. "Marry me." I said honestly. "No." Jessa said firmly. I froze and tensed up. I took a step back and looked at her to make sure she was serious. She was. "Jessa I'm being serious right now.." I said. "So am I.. No." I started to get upset. I love this woman with all of my heart, and she flat out turned me down. "I don't need a ring and a piece of paper to tell me who I belong to B, one day, yes. I'll marry you. But not yet. Right now, there's something I want a hell of a lot more than some stupid wedding." She said slyly. "What's that?" I frowned. "Patch me in." She whispered shyly, digging the toe of her boot in the dirt. Her cheeks were red and she was wringing her hands together. She knew that what she was asking was a big deal. In the biker world, when a man patches in his Ol lady, that's a biker's marriage. It's more respected than an actual wedding, and it's for life. No divorce. No breaking up. No going back. Patching your woman in held a hell of a lot more weight in our world than a marriage license and a ring. I honestly hadn't thought about it. I just assumed, like an ass, that Jessa would want a wedding like every other female. That's where I messed up. I knew she was different than the other women I've been with, hell, it's one of the things I love most about her. She was still squirming when I spoke up. "I think that's a way better idea baby girl." I smiled big, my hand holding her cheek. She grabbed my hand with both of hers and nuzzled into my touch. I tugged her into my arms and kissed her hard. Backing her up until we were against the tree. Clothes were yanked off, boots clanked on the ground. I took her right there. Up against the tree where all this first started, and by the time we were finished, we were both covered in mud and scratches. We finally managed to head inside and shower, then fall into bed face first. Once Jessa was asleep, I smiled to myself and slipped out of bed. I walked into the bathroom to get dressed and I grinned in triumph. There was a paper towel on the sink that Jessa used to blot her lipstick this morning. She always kissed the paper tow, and this one had a perfect imprint of Jessa's lips in red lipstick. I grabbed it and tucked it gently into my pocket. I crept downstairs and hopped onto my bike, taking off quickly. I made two phone calls on the road. One to the guy I get all my leathers from, and one to my tattoo artist. I stopped at the leather shop first. My guy was there waiting on me. "What's the emergency?" He asked. "I need a cut and a jacket. I'm patching in Jessa." I explained. My guy grinned big. "Congratulations brother! You're a lucky son of a bitch!" He smiled widely and shook my hand. I thanked him and handed him my jacket and cut, Jessa's would be a replica of mine, but obviously much smaller. We'd have the same patches, and my name would be somewhere on hers. By the time he was done, my tattoo guy showed up at the shop with a his gear. He started on my request immediately. On my inner forearm, the clean one without the sleeve, he inked Jessa's lips in a gorgeous red color, then in black he signed her first name, using a credit card slip with her signature as a guide. So Jessa's kiss-print and her signature now resided permanently on my body. It looked bad ass. On Jessa's gear, my guy sewed on a patch that said "Poperty of Brantley 'Boss' Gilbert" on the back across the shoulders, and on the front, a smaller patch that proudly stated "Ol Lady". They were flawless. I paid both my buds and hauled ass back home. When I got there, Jessa was still sleeping, I stripped and climbed back into bed after lying her leathers on the chair in the corner.

As the sun came through the curtains in the morning, Jessa stretched lazily like a cat and turned to me. "Good morning." She smiled toothily. I grinned right back. "Mornin pretty girl." She kissed me quickly and my hand cupped her behind. I let go of her just long enough to stretch, and her eyes zeroed in on my arm. She gasped. "B!" I looked at her hoping she'd like it. Judging by the grin she had on, I'd say she did. She gently stroked around the new ink, "thank you." She said simply. I nodded at her. "I want one too." She said seriously. "Yeah?" I asked. "Yes!" She repeated. I smiled and kissed her again. When we broke apart, I nodded to the chair and Jessa squealed, launching herself out of bed and over to her new leathers. She grabbed them and checked out each patch, sighing happily when she saw my name on her gear. She tugged on her jacket, stark naked underneath, and modeled it for me. I growled and sat up, intent on loving her again this morning. "No way mister! Call your guy, I want my ink!" She grinned. I groaned and looked down at my lap. Jessa giggled and straddled me. "I promise I'll make it up to you tonight." She said, kissing my gently. I grabbed the sides of her jacket and zipped it up to her neck. "Then cover up, otherwise we aren't leaving this room girl." I growled. She giggled and took off for the closet to get dressed. I called my guy again and told him what was up. By the time Jessa was dressed, he was knocking on my front door. I pulled on a pair of sweatpants so I wouldn't answer the door naked, and let him in. "You're great advertisement, you know that?" He snorted and looked at me. He had done all of my work. My full back piece, my sleeve, my chest piece, the one on my side. Everything. I laughed along with him. Jessa came down and she wanted my name on her forearm as well, but along the outside instead of the inside. The B in my name was a set of black brass knuckles, and the rest of my name was done in black, in a dominant script, similar to old English. It looked bad ass. Jessa was ecstatic with it. Once my guy left, I pulled her into my arms and kissed her softly. "God I love you, girl." I rumbled out. Jessa smiled, her eyes a little misty. "I love you too B, always."
