Josh's POV
My baby girl was in the hospital. We've been waiting for a while now, at least an hour or two. After a bit, someone came out. "Mr. And Mrs. Evans?"

We nervously got up and went with the doctor. "Well, Sarah's not in any bad condition. She does have a concussion and will have to stay home from school for the next week. There will be no electronic devices or any sort of light during this week so her brain can adjust. Any questions?"

"No sir."

"Alright. Well, here is her room. You are welcome to go in, but they are bandaging her nose at the moment."

Colleen and I agreed to go in. We opened the door and there she was. They were just putting her to sleep. Her in this state makes me sad. I turn to look at Colleen and she was crying. I kiss her forehead and pull her into a hug. "She'll be fine. Don't worry."

"I know Joshua. It's just that I can't bare to see her like this." We sit next to Sarah on the bed and hold her hands. The doctors were gone by then. Her eyes slowly start to flutter open. "Hey baby. How ya feeling?"

"My head hurts a little but I'm ok." She smiles and turns to Colleen, who is still crying.

Sarah's POV
I turn around to see Colleen crying. "I'll be ok Colleen, don't worry." We started talking about what was going to happen in the next week when I started suddenly getting dizzy.

I tried to shake it off but I couldn't. Then everything went black.

Colleen's POV
We were talking when all of the sudden, Sarah passed out. "Josh, go call a doctor, now." He got up and went to find a doctor, and I sat and cried next to Sarah. Doctors rushed in and kicked Josh and I out.

We stood outside waiting for a bit until one nurse came out to us. "We are sorry but we have some bad news."

I turned to Josh as I started to silently cry. I noticed that he started to cry as well. "What would that news be?" I managed to choke out.

"Sarah's brain got weak from the small amount of light in the room. She is now in the comatose state. We aren't sure when she will wake up. I'm sorry. But you may go in now."

I turned to Josh and he pulled me into a hug. I cried into his chest. When I slowed down my crying, we went into the room. There were now twice as many machines attached to her.

I sat down with Josh next to the bed. He started talking to Sarah. "Hey Fraggle Jr. I know you probably can't hear a word I say, but just know that I have faith in you. Just keep fighting. Stay strong. And please wake up soon for us. We love you."

This was just a quick update for y'all!
I've been on a slight writer's block but I think I have a path for the rest of the story. And I definitely have the last chapter planned out. But that won't be for a while.
I will probably update tomorrow so keep an eye out.
