Joining a Guild .

Your POV

After I told Makarov my name , he invited me to the join the guild , Fairy Tail . I accepted his offer as I wanted to have adventures just like how my dad did during his younger days . However , I was still unable to trust them fully so I still had my walls up real high . The only person I trust is Val , and that'll never change .

"Hello ? Are you even listening (Y/N) ?" A voice said while waving his hands to get my attention .

I snapped back into reality to something blue looking at me . I nodded , looking at Val . I noticed that everyone had stopped already so I looked up to see a guild . I stared at it with an analytic gaze . Natsu pushed the doors open and starts screaming

"We're HOME !" Natsu yelled grinning from ear to ear .

As I was walking into the guild , I received many stares from the people sitting on the tables but shrugged it off . Makarov led me to his office to settle the admin stuff .

"Before I say anything , unfortunately I am unable to get a place for you to stay because Fairy Tail's Dorms are currently full , so you'll need to find a place on your own alright ?"

I nodded.

"So (Y/N) , Val , where would you want your guild mark to be and what colour would you like it to be ?" He said .

I rolled up my sleeve and gestured at my right shoulder , while Val lifted his bag to reveal his back .

"I want it to be royal blue" I said with no emotions .

"I want it in white" Val said.

He nodded and put a stamp on my shoulder . Once he lifted it up , it revealed a mark on my shoulder . Val also had the exact same mark on his back . We thanked him and made our way back to the guild hall . When I arrived , I was surrounded and was getting questioned .

"What's your magic?"

"Where did you come from?"

"Aww it's that you're cat ? So you're a dragon slayer like Natsu , Wendy and Gajeel?"

I was getting breathless and I started to gasp as I was lacking oxygen . However , the people that were asking me the questions didn't seem to notice as they were talking amongst themselves . All of a sudden I heard a voice ,

"Hey ! Don't crowd around him so much !"

I turned to see a certain salmon haired teen standing behind me . Everyone just shrugged and went their separate ways .

"You didn't have to help me , I was fine" I said while crossing my arms .

"A simple thank you would suffice you know ." Natsu said while pouting.

I just shrugged and was about to walk away before he stopped me .

"Hey wait up ! I was thinking whether you wanted to do a quest with us ?" He said while pointing to Lucy , Wendy , Erza and Gray.

I was about to decline the offer when suddenly Val came up to my ear whispering .

"This could be a good idea you know we need the jewels anyways if not we won't be able to find a house ." He said .

I took what Val said into account and sighed . I turned back to Natsu and nodded . He started giving me a toothy grin .

'Why is he so happy ? Is he dumb or something ? What the hell is wrong with this man ?' I thought .

Natsu went to the job board and ripped out a quest and handed it over to a girl with platinum white hair . She looked at the job and nodded before walking away .
