“Men’s brains are about 10 percent bigger than women’s brains overall,” says Amanda Ripley. At the end of the day, male and female get a better understanding of the opposite sex. It is amazing how life unfolds itself. Female communicate through many different points of views, while males are simple minded and action-oriented. Males and females are two completely different species. The differences between male and females are action versus talking, the skills they have, and their emotions.
In everyone eyes, it is said that females talks more than males. Females enjoy talking and gossiping about many things that comes to mind. When it comes to a situation, females talk it out instead of walking away. Female’s facial expressions tell it all; by the mood and the way they act, that is how it is being reflected. However, on the other hand, males are very competitive with everything they do. They talk with their fist and hands to sometime get their point across. When it comes to a situation, sometimes I wonder if they are listening, but their facial expressions are blank. It looks like they have no feelings towards a situation. In the article, “Male-Female Communication: Debunking the Mars-Venus Myth” by, Dr. Yvonne K. Fulbright, “In the journal Science reported that both genders speak almost the exact same number of words daily (16,000).” This means that even if you think females speak more than a male, the fact is that it is not true. Females speak a lot more words in a short amount of time, but at the end of the day, females and males are equal. There are other things that females and males are best at differently such as their skills too.
By learning and discovering the things that we are taught, we sometime have a better skill than the opposite sex. It can even be even better than our peers too. Females and males have different techniques, communication, in everything they do. In the article, “Born to Be Different”, by Camille Lewis, it says that, “Gray matters help explain women’s ability to look at many sides of arguments at once, and to do several task.” This means that females are very talented in multitasking. They can multitask in communicating with others on the phone, cooking, and yelling at the kids all at the same time. They even have many points of views to look at. Females like to get what they want, if they do not, they try to figure out another idea and keep switching it up. With being open minded, it is also good for jobs because you have many different ideas in your head. Females are better off with a job such as nursing and teaching. Females are great at critical thinking and interacting with others. However for males, Camille says, “White matter, allows men to concentrate very narrowly on a specific task.” When males are working on a project, they like to stick to one thing and stay focus on it. This explains why most males are direct. They are very simple when they communicate. They get straight to the point and will stick only to one plan. With that said, this is why males are great for jobs such as engineering and politics. However, not only that females and males have different skills, but their emotions are completely the opposites too.
Males and females express emotions in different methods. Most females speak what is on their mind. Even the littlest things that bother them, they will let it out. Females talk it out with friends, families, and supportive loved ones. Since females are very sensitive, they do not like seeing other people get hurt, we believe that people should deserve a second chance in life. Females are easily to forgive but to never forget. It stays in their minds. When it is hard to bear with the emotions that are all thrown at us at once we let it out by our tears. It will only make us stronger and to move on forward. However, males are very aggressive. When it comes to having a problem, they tend to hide their emotions than letting it out. Males prefer to let their emotions out by doing what they do best, such as a game in basketball, or boxing. When males are feeling down or just had an argument, they can hold a very long grudge until they realize for it themselves. “Men are sized up as inarticulate, aggressive Neanderthals, incapable of feeling emotions and being sensitive” This is a fact on males. Males are taught to be a man, to be tough, and to never give up.
In conclusion, males and females are two completely different species. We all see the light differently, but end up on the same road. While females talk more than males, we both end up speaking the same amount of words from daylight until night time. With having skills, we learn that males and females have expertise in different areas, and females let their emotions out easily than males. Without communication, people would be in dire need of attention.
