Feferi Piexes

This is the beginning of the soulmate au where you have the others name written somewhere on your body and it fades away once you have found them... This one is kind of sad I guess but meh, just warning ya.

Ever since young Feferi Piexes was hatched, she had owned a tattoo on one of her shoulder blades.  She knew that this was her soulmates name and she couldn't wait until she met them. Every time she met someone who's name matched the one on her shoulder blade Feferi's head would almost explode with excitement. This excitement would be shortly lived when Feferi would reach her hand to feel the tattoo that was still there. Today she was feeling a bit ill and went to see Sollux. She had no reason its just her stomach was playing up a bit, but it was more of an exciting feeling which confused her. 

As Feferi walked to Sollux's hive she noticed how everything in Alternia seemed to look, newer maybe? She couldn't think of the appropriate way to describe how everything looked so perfect on this abnormal day. She looked to the ground and saw an almost brand new gravel, and when she looked at the grass she saw a beautiful emerald field which had slight dew from the scattered showers that indicated quite an early, frosty spring. She approached the seemingly glowing hive that belonged to the Captor she was searching for. Knocking on the door and waiting for a moment the door opened to reveal Sollux and a stranger. Feferi had a sharp cramp when she saw the stranger her shoulder blade burned, but she ignored it. The pair looked at each other and winced a bit before smiling and shaking hands. The (boy/girl) smiled at her and led her inside by the same hands they shook with. 

"So! Hey there! My name is Alex (bare with me this isn't an oc), it's nice to meet you...?"

"Feferi! Hehe, sorry if I was interrupting Sollux, I just wanted to know if your internet thingey had a cure for my sickness." Just at that moment Feferi realised that her sickness was gone and the burning in her shoulder was gone. She shrugged it off. Alex reached (his/her) hand back to (his/her) shoulder and looked shocked. 

"Sollux! My tattoos gone!" Sollux and Feferi looked at Alex in shock and Sollux tugged down the back of Alex's top.

"It ith!" 

"Feferi must be the one!" Alex looked overjoyed.

"That can't be!" Alex and Sollux looked confused.

"The name on my shoulder is (you know the drill)!" Alex looked saddened. 

"I guess I'm not meant to have a soulmate then. The tattoo was just a cruel trick played by fate to make me think I had a chance with someone..." Tears gathered in Alex's eyes and (he/she) sniffed lightly as though (he/she) was trying to stop the tears. Taking a calm breath, Alex stood straight and smiled.

"I'm... I'm gonna go home now I have a bit of a headache." Alex waved goodbye and walked back to (his/her) (house/hive). Feferi looked sad and touched her shoulder blade and to her complete and utter terror she too no longer had a tattoo on her shoulder blade.

"No, no, no! Please no! I haven't met them yet don't tell me fate was playing with me too! No, please...!" Feferi sobbed into her hands, Sollux rubbed comforting circles on her back. 

A week later Feferi and Alex were hanging out again but Alex had big news. Feferi sat down slightly glumly while Alex was nearly vibrating off the chair in excitement. 

"Feferi I have big news! The hospital called today to tell me something really huge!" Alex exclaimed almost glowing.

"Two months ago I was involved in a terrible accident that gave me amnesia, the doctors were trying to find out who I was before hand so they gave me an alias to go by for the time being. It turns out... My name is (Y/n) (L/n) and I'm your soulmate Feferi Piexes!" Feferi looked at Ale- no (Y/n) in complete utter belief, then anger and then complete and utter admiration. There was no way (Y/n) was lying to her it explained everything about the tattoos! Feferi jumped up and hugged (Y/n), while (he/she) spun her around. The two shared a sweet kiss.

"I'm glad that I found you..." They both whispered tears rolling down their faces....
