The '*' stands for a POV change

He hadn't meant to forget, I mean, what seventeen year old is expected to remember Mothers Day? There wasn't much he could do for her now. That's when it struck him, The Flower Shop. The Flower Shop was a great place to get his mother a gift. They had tulips and... other flowers. They would now which he should get his mother. He jumped off his bed and ran outside, garbed his bike and speed out too town.

It was a quite dreary day at The Flower Shop. There wasn't much for Berwald to do but stand at the counter. Earlier that day, the store was packed with dad's and with kids getting their wife's gifts for Mother's Day, but now it was quiet. Their were barely any flowers left; most of what was left were flowers that barely meet the selling standers.

Ber just stood in silence, hoping his dad (who owned the shop) would let him leave early. The problem was he had no idea where his dad was, and hell, even if he did he still wouldn't ask him. Ber didn't like asking questions, and what if his dad said no? It would just leave him embarrassed.

That's when Ber heard the door open. He looked up to see who it was, and instantly cringed. Mathias.   A kid in several of his classes that had a reputation for being loud and obnoxious. Though he ain't to bad on the eyes. Ber erased that thought from his head as Mathias walked up to the counter with a slight blush on his face.

Mathias locked his bike to the bike park and entered the store. As soon as he walked in he wanted to turn around. Berwald. The center of his wet dreams, the one kid he was intimidated by, his future husband.

"Hey, Ber!" Mathias yelled, or at least it was supposed to be a  yell. Unfortunately for Mat, his voice decided to crack.

Mathias felt a bright blush on his face as soon as the words left his mouth. He was through with puberty, he was turning 18 next month, his voice cracking was supposed to be a thing of the past.

But Berwald didn't seem to care.

"How may I help you?" he muttered as Mathias steeped closer too the counter.

"I, um, need some flowers for my mom." Mat stated awkwardly.

Ber nodded then turned around and singled for him to follow. Ber lead him into a dark back room, filled with the sweet, strong sent of newly picked flowers. Mathias looked at all the different flowers.

"What kind should I get for her?" Asked Mathias. Berwald looked around and ran over to small pot of white flowers.

"Daisies would be a good gift." Ber stated, grabbing a few and bundling them together with twine.

They walked back up to the counter where Mat paid for the flowers.

"Thanks, Ber!" He called as he walked out the door. Ber just gave him a nod.

Mathias walked over to his bike. 'I've got to find a way to get closer to Ber.' He thought.

He just needed to know how.
