Trapped In Naruto!

Chapter 2 ~ Academy

*Mari's POV*

 Kakashi leads me out to show me where my apartment is, then to the academy since class hasn't started yet. Once we are done at the apartment, I look down realizing my clothes are different. I am wearing a black tank top and whit shorts with a hole in the back for my tail, and ninja sandals, simple, the way I like it. We arrive at the academy outside my classroom and I am staring to get nervous and freeze right before we go in. "What is it Mari?" Kakashi asks. "N-Nothing... Its just, what if they think my ears and tail are weird?" He sighs then does his close eyed smile. "Don't worry, like the Hokage said, all of the Rosuto clan has ears and a tail, nothing to be ashamed or nervous about." I smile at him and then we walk in to see Naruto being scolded by Iruka while he is tied up. All eyes are now on me. "Oh hello Kakashi, who is this?" He looks at me. Kakashi whispers to Iruka explaining who I am and how I just joined the academy. Kakashi nods, looks at me and smiles then disappears. "All right class, this is our new student Mari Rosuto, treat her nicely." He says to the class, then tells me to pick an open seat. I look and see and open seat next to Sasuke, Shikamaru, Choji, and Kiba. I notice Akamara on Kiba's head. I go up and sit next to Kiba. Akamaru jumps off Kiba and lays in my lap. I giggle a little and pet his head. "Wow, Akamaru really likes you." Kiba says. I smile at him and then Iruka speaks up. "All right, since you missed it Naruto, everyone has to review the transformation jutsu! Except you Mari." I smile slightly relieved. "You go ahead, I can hold onto Akamaru for you." I say to Kiba, he nods and lines up. I zone out then see it's Naruto's turn. I hold back my laughter when he does his 'Sexy Jutsu' and Iruka gets a nosebleed. Naruto gets yelled at but we continue with class. Class ends a half hour later. I pet Akamaru one last time and hand him to Kiba. "Akamaru is really cute." I say smiling. Kiba has a tint of pink on his cheeks. "T-Thanks..." He says, waves, then walks out. Just as I was about to leave Sakura and Ino stop me. "Hey, Mari-chan." They say in unison. "Yes?" "Who do you like in class?" Sakura asks me right away, I just sigh. "If your wondering if I like Sasuke, then no, I don't. Also Sakura." I lean over and whisper in her ear. "I think you would be better for Sasuke than Ino, just don't always fawn over him like you do. I can tell he doesn't like it. Focus on becoming a better ninja, he'll notice you in a better way." I back up and smile at them and walk out. I walk around, and find my way to Ichiraku Ramen. I wonder what it tastes like, but I need to save my money... Maybe another time...  As I am about to walk away, someone taps my shoulder. "Your Mari right?" It's Naruto, and now that I get a better look at him, he does have loneliness in his eyes...  "Oh hello Naruto." I say with a smile. "Y-You know my name?" He stutters. "I heard Iruka-sensei say it when he was yelling at you." "Oh, well anyways, have you ever had Irchiraku's Ramen?" I shake my head. "No, since I just got here today, and don't have a lot of money..." He freezes in his place then he drags me over to a stool and orders two miso ramen, one for him, one for me. "N-Naruto, you really don't have to..." "Yes I do! You gotta try the best ramen on earth! Believe it!" I chuckle and try the ramen when it comes out. Naruto's staring at me. "Well? Well? Do you like it?" He asks. "Yes, it's amazing." I say to him and we both smile. When we finish eating I had two bowls, he had seven.

"Thanks a lot Naruto! I hope we can be great friends, but right now, I have to head home. Bye!" "Bye Mari-chan!" I walk home. I'm glad I can remember the hand signs for the clone jutsu. I'm all set for tomorrow. I go to class the next day and sit next to Kiba again, Akamaru jumps to my lap and I laugh a little. "Good morning to you Akamaru, you to Kiba." I say smiling at Kiba. Iruka explains the text and I wait to be called. I am called and Kiba wishes me good luck an I go into the room and notice Mizuki. I glare at him and my ears go down while I growl slightly. "Ok, Mari, make three solid clones and you pass." I nod and do you hand sign, five clones appear behind me. I am somewhat shocked and so is Iruka and Mizuki. "Do you have a head protector in black?" Iruka nods and grabs one from a box under the table. I put it on my right arm and walk outside to see family's congratulating their kids. Now I know how Naruto feels... I walk over to a depressed Naruto and put my hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry Naruto, I know you'll pass very very soon." I say smiling giving him a thumbs up and then jumping away. I keep a close eye on him from not far away and see him talking to Mizuki. I follow Naruto into the woods and watch him practice. Soon Iruka shows up, just before he gets hit by the kunai, I jump in and push them out of the way getting pinned to the wall with kunai. This is nothing compared to my pain back in my world! I take out the kunai and yell at Naruto. "Naruto! You have the nine-tailed fox inside you! People may think your a beast or a monster! Although there are people that you have or haven't met that don't think that about you, like Iruka-sensei and myself! Don't think of yourself as a monst-" I get cut off by Mizuki stabbing me in the stomach with a kunai. I cough up a little blood, but take the kunai out and growl. "Naruto! Use you new jutsu to take down Mizuki!" Naruto nods and over a thousand shadow clones appear around Mizuki. Iruka jumps in and picks me up and brings me to a tree. "That was reckless Mari!" Iruka scolds me. I laugh a little "Does that prove that Naruto has what it takes to pass?" I ask Iruka and he looks shocked, then Naruto and Iruka have that little moment and I start wobbling back to the village, trying to get to the hospital. It's super early, no one is out here. I can't pass out until I get to the hospital...  I think while dragging my feet as I slowly make my way to the hospital. I stop and lean against the fence my breath keeps catching in my throat, and my vision is a bit blurry from the blood loss. "Hey, your Mari right?" I hear a voice behind me, but I can't speak, I'm to weak. I think the person noticed my blood since he picked me up and started running with me. I look at his face and recognize the black hair and onyx eyes. "S-Sasuke...    U-Uchiha...?" He looks down at me right before I pass out.
