chapter 17: confused

Veronica's pov.

I'm exhausted, I thought.

I look around the room. This isn't my room...

I get up. And look down at my body. I'm glowing..and why am I naked?!

I see my clothes on the floor. Then I notice something that caught my eye. It is a picture of me and..
Hunter!

This is hunters room..oh my god! We had sex! No, no, no, no.

I walk into the hallway as my nose is filled with a yummy aroma.

As I walk down the steps, I see hunter cooking, he's only in a towel. Oh lord!

"Hi!" He says. "Good morning.." He finishes as he puts a plate of food on the dining table.

"Good morning..." I say. Standing still.

"Are you gonna eat or..?" He asked. "Yeah. Thank you.." I sit and look at the plate that's in front of me. Bacon,eggs,a pancake, and a cup of orange juice.

Hunter sits across from me. Having a little more on his plate.

We sit on silence eating for a while until I break it.

"So um.." I cough. "We had sex?" I ask. He nodded and put up 2 fingers indicating we had sex twice.

I thought we only had sex once!?

"When was the second time?" I ask.

He chuckles.

"Well, we were smoking for a while and you wanted to have sex and so we did. Then you woke up at 4am wanting more so I gave it to you... Cuz I won't deny sex at 4am from a women I love..." He says.

4am!?

I sigh.

Hunters POV.

Ugh. Should I tell her. I don't know what she'll say or do! I thought.

We continued to eat in silence.

Are we back together...?
Is she mine again?!
All these questions keep running through my mind.

"Um im gonna go home and take care of things.." She says. Oh no. She's scared.

"Okay sure.. But I have to tell you something before you go.." I say.

She nods.

"The second time..we um had sex...um I was half asleep and I wasnt thinking straight...I forgot to..uh..wear a condom..." He eyes went super big as soon as I said that.

"..oh my god.. I gotta go..I gotta go.." She said walking away.

"Wait!" I say running to her. "Where are you going..!?"

"To get a morning pill and hoping my period comes in two days!!!" She yells.

"I'm sorry you wanted it!!!" I yelled.

"Oh fuck you!" She yelled and walked away.
