Chapter Two

"Bye mum! Me and Jess are going to Syco Records!" I yell.

"Okay! Good luck honey." my mom smiles at me.

I pick a sleeping Jess from the couch. I walk to my car and strap Jess in. I pull out of my driveway and take out the paper Niall handed me. I type in the address into my GPS and start driving. When I get there, I pick up Jess and walk towards the door. I open and walk it. I walk to a lady at the reception desk.

"Hi, I'm Emma Jones. I'm here to meet  One Direction." I smile.

"Oh yes! Go through that door and the last room to the right." the lady smiles at me.

I thank her and walk back there. I walk to the end of the hall and open the door. The boys are sitting on a couch playing PS3. Their backs are turned away from me.

"Um boys?" I grin.

They turn around and smile at me.

"EMMA!" they yell.

Jess squirms in my arms. Niall gets off of the couch and walks towards me.

"You came." he smiles.

"Yeah, I did." I smile back.

"And you look different." he whispers.

"Yeah, I thought I should change it up." I blush.

"I think you look nice in your glasses." he blushes.

I smile at him.

Jess lifts her head up and opens her eyes.

'Emmie, I'm hungry!" she whines.

I roll my eyes. She's always hungry.

Niall grabs her hand.

"Well, we have lots of food. Whay do ya want, princess?" he smiles at her.

"NUTELLA!" she squeals.

He chuckles at her. He looks back at me. I turn away and blush. Harry walks up to me.

"You know, Niall fancies ya." he smirks.

I stare at him. He just grins at me. I stare at Niall. He and Jess already get along awesome. I mean, Niall's really cute, all of the are but, Niall's different. He's sweet and kind. And warm-hearted. And charming.

"Um.....Emma, are you ready?" Zayn asks me.

I snap out of my daze and nod my head. Niall grabs my hand and leads me into the booth. He looks me in the eyes.

"Don't worry, you'll do great." he smiles at me.

I smile back. I grab the headphones and place them on my head. I walk up to the mic.

"Oh, I'm singing I'm Yours." I tell the boys.

They just nod and smile at me. I look at Niall. He gives me a big thumbs up and I blush. The music starts playing. I open my mouth and start singing:

"Well, you dawned on me and you bet I felt it

I tried to be chill but you're so hot that I melted

I fell right through the cracks

Now I'm trying to get back

Before the cool dawn run out

I'll be giving it my bestest
