Winter wonderland

FRIDAY

Friday came fast.Friday morning Amelia chose what she was going to wear it was her bright yellow jeans and a pink shirt.she also wore her joggers knowing that ice skating requires wearing different shoes.Jasmine drove Amelia to Stella's house.When Amelia got there Stella said 'hello' and Stella's and Amelia's mum talked for a while.Stella showed Amelia around the house.Amelia thought the house was amazing.there was pictures of Stella everywhere.there was lots of them where she was ice skating.stella's room had lots of light blue in it.She had lots of shoes on a shoe rack next to her door.
"Girls you ready to go Courtney"(Stella's mum) called
"Yep"Stella called back
Stella took Amelia out of the house.they walked to a car.the car was blue and it had a green stripe on the side.Stella and Amelia sat on the back seat of the small car.Stella's mum hopped in the front.
" are you excited Amelia?"Courtney asked
"Yeah"Amelia told Courtney knowing that she was more frightened than excited
The three sat in silence until the car pulled up the the ice skating centre.
"We are here"Stella said as she jumped out of the car
"It is huge"Amelia replied
"One of the biggest in the world"commented Courtney
As Amelia,Stella and Courtney walked into the centre Amelia thought about the bad things that could happen she was so scared.they made it to the door.Stella and Courtney have a card so they can get in when ever they would like.Courtney gave Amelia $4.40 so that she could get in.Stella and Courtney walked in to the rink.Amelia walked up to the desk to get in.no one was there.dam it Amelia thought to her self.after a few minutes a lady walked up to the desk she looked about 40 years old.
"How long were you here?"the lady asked
Amelia noticed a badge on the lady's shirt that said Nicole.Amelia guessed that that was her name.
"Not long"Answered Amelia
"Sorry I was making a enrolment form now how can I help you?"
"Can I please get into the ice rink?"
"$4.40"the lady replied
Amelia passed her the money.the lady then gave Amelia a piece of paper.it was more like a flyer.invited her to the centre more often.Amelia thought that it is just for advertising.the lady opened the door for Amelia and she walked in.A puff of cold wind hit her as she walked through the door.Stella and Courtney were waiting for her.Stella had skates on and she was holding a pair.
"No one is ever at the desk"Courtney said
"Try these on not sure if they will fit you but they are the same size as mine"Stella passed Amelia the shoes
Amelia struggled to put them on but when she did they were a perfect fit.Courtney took their stuff over to a chair and she sat down and watched them.Stella walked Amelia over to the rink Stella stepped on and Amelia followed.Stella could stand on the ice,but when Amelia walked on she fell over.Stella grabbed Amelia's hand and skated around for a bit.then Stella let go of Amelia's hand.Amelia fly around the rink like she was a professional.And they did that till it was time to go.
"You are fantastic"said Courtney
"Thanks Stella is amazing"Amelia replied
"I have being doing it for a long time"Stella told Amelia
Courtney pulled up at Amelia's house.Amelia showed Stella around and they played and talked for a little bit while their Mums talked then Stella left.
